Mr. Andrew L. McDonald, also known as Andy, serves as the Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President of Columbia Banking System Inc. Mr. McDonalds has been the Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President of Columbia State Bank (formerly, Columbia Bank), a subsidiary of Columbia Banking System Inc. since joined in June 1, 2004. His main areas of responsibility include credit administration, special credits, compliance and loan operations. He served as Senior Vice President and Team Leader at US Bank for its South Sound Commercial Banking Group. He has over 18 years of banking experience. Mr. McDonald served as credit officer of US Bank and West One Bank. He managed US Bank's Media & Telecommunications group and South Puget Sound Commercial Banking group. He held lending positions with Mellon Bank and Security Pacific. He served as Team Leader for a Media and Telecommunications Banking Group, as well as a Senior Credit Officer and Relationship Manager. Mr. McDonald serves as a Board Member of the Tacoma Pierce County Chamber of Commerce, Pierce/Thurston County Junior Achievement and the South Sound Boys and Girls Club. He was the Vice Chair of the Chamber's 2003 Total Resource Campaign. He served on the board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters from 1997 to 2002 and was a Founding Board Member of the American Cancer Society's Vertical Challenge Campaign. Mr. McDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Washington and a Master of Business Administration from Notre Dame University, where he was accepted into the accelerated MBA Program and graduated with Honors.

Mr. David C. Lawson, also known as Dave, has been an Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Columbia Banking System, Inc. and Columbia State Bank since joined in July 2013. Mr. Lawson provides leadership in human resources, organization development and performance improvement for all divisions of Columbia Bank. Mr. Lawson oversees Columbia's employee relations, talent acquisition / retention, leadership development, training / education services, compensation/benefits, organizational development and performance improvement functions. Mr. Lawson served as Human Resources Director of Columbia Banking System Inc. Mr. Lawson served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at CHI Franciscan Health. Mr. Lawson's experience spans over 34 years and includes an 11-year tenure with Franciscan Health System serving the south Puget Sound region. He served as Senior Vice President of Columbia Banking System Inc. and oversaw the human resources and education functions for six hospitals, a network of primary and specialty care clinics and physicians in Pierce, King and Kitsap counties along with two additional hospitals in Oregon, employing 11,000 employees. Mr. Lawson serves on the Boards of the CHI Franciscan Foundation, Step by Step, Mountain View Community Center and Shanaman Sports Museum of Tacoma-Pierce County and Workforce Central of Tacoma-Pierce County. He is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management and the Northwest Human Resources Management Association. Mr. Lawson is a SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and holds a B.B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University.
