
They care more about how they look and sound to the outside world than the well-being of their employees. I will forever have PTSD from my first boss, who everyone knew was difficult but never stopped their atrocious behavior.
Everyone is outwardly friendly, but there is more politics here than Capitol Hill. Also, there a real FOMA and so everyone has to look at everything and be a part of the approval process. Way too many meetings, some weekly that are 2-3 hours long.
While the bonuses can be very good depending on the year, base salary is low as are the amount of days off. Benefits are quite expensive. You have to pay for your own short and long term disabilty, which is preposterous considering there are low paid folks in manufacturing who probably forgo.
I had 12 interviews with 8 people and they made me come in physically twice for all day interviews, knowing it was a two hour drive each way. I was there a full 8am-4pm and they never even gave me a lunch break. It took weeks to hear back and they only gave you 48 hours to accept.
