Mr. Li Yu founded Preferred Bank and has been its Chairman since December 1991 and Chief Executive Officer since 1993 and served as its President from 1993 to August 22, 2012. From 1987 to 1991, Mr. Yu was involved in several privately held companies of which he was the Owner. He serves as the Chairman of Preferred Bank since December 1991. From 1982 to 1987, he served as the Chairman of the Board of California Pacific National Bank, which became a part of Bank of America. He has been a Director of Preferred Bank since 1991. He serves as a Member of the Board of Visitors at UCLA''s Anderson Graduate School of Management. He served as the President of the National Association of Chinese American Bankers. Mr. Yu received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mr. Edward J. Czajka has been the Chief Financial Officer of Preferred Bank since May 30, 2006 and has been its Executive Vice President since 2008. Mr. Czajka served as the Chief Financial Officer of Presidio Bank, where he was responsible for overall operations implementation and all back office functions including information technology, human resources, accounting and branch operations. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of North Valley Bancorp., Bank Processing Inc., Six Rivers Bank and North Valley Bank from July 2001 to June 2005. He served as a Senior Vice President of Preferred Bank from 2006 to 2008. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Czajka served as a Vice President, Corporate Controller for Pacific Capital BanCorp. where he was responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting for the $3.5 billion multi-bank holding company and played a key role in two acquisitions. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at First National Bank of Central California. Before this, Mr. Czajka held finance and accounting positions of increasing responsibility at several California-based banks. Mr. Czajka received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Capella University and is a graduate of the Bank Administration Institute Graduate School of Banking at Vanderbilt University.

Mr. Wellington Chen has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Preferred Bank since August 21, 2012 and August 9, 2011 respectively. Mr. Chen served as Senior Executive Vice President of Preferred Bank from June 22, 2011 to August 21, 2012. He served as a Director of Corporate Banking and Executive Vice President of East West Bank since December 2003. He served as an Executive Vice President of East West BanCorp. Inc. He joined East West Bank a subsidiary of East West BanCorp. Incn. in December 2003. Mr. Chen served as Senior Executive Vice President of Far East National Bank heading up their Commercial Banking and Consumer Banking groups. He began his career with Far East in 1986 where he held a variety of branch and credit management positions. Prior to that, he was employed for 3 years with Security Pacific National Bank where he completed the management training program and served as an asset-based lending auditor. Mr. Chen serves on the Board of Directors of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Foundation.

Mr. Nick Pi has been the Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President of Preferred Bank (alternate name Preferred Bank Los Angeles) since August 31, 2015 and served as its Group Manager since 2003 and Acting Chief Credit Officer since June 17, 2015 until August 31, 2015. Mr. Pi manages several branches and lending departments of Preferred Bank. Mr. Pi has been with Preferred Bank since March 24, 2003. He served as the Senior Vice President and Corporate Banking Officer of Preferred Bank from 2003 to 2006. Before joining Preferred Bank, Mr. Pi served as the Senior Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Lending Team Leader of Chinatrust Bank (U.S.A.) from 2000 to 2003. Prior to this, he held various corporate titles from Assistant Vice President to Senior Vice President at Chinatrust bank (U.S.A.), mainly in the branch operation and lending fields from 1995 to 2000. His lending and credit experience also includes Grand Pacific Financing Corporation from 1989 to 1995, an affiliate of ChinaTrust Group. Mr. Pi received a BA degree in Business School from NTU, Taiwan and an MBA degree from ESU.
