I have had great working relationships here. However, the hiring process and promotion process is very inconsistent and favoritism happens making it difficult to promote. Positions are created and someone is promoted without even interviewing. Need to be more transparent in HR practices.

Pay people consistently within the same role, with similar education and experience. This is a college, people with masters and doctorates need to be paid more.
