i enjoy my job, but i don't like the expected pace i am supposed to keep constantly.
Other members of staff are a huge emotional support, the only issue is you cant get to know anyone as they don't stay long,
Meetings are too long and often go off topic, this then adds to the already large pressure of the work load.
The interviewer clearly had no idea what they were talking about. Also it was clear they did not understand just how much experience I had. also don't leave people hanging for months and come back to them as a backup option because the first one dint work out.
SMi offers nothing that they don't need to staff, the directors have all the benefits, staff are left with the statutory minimums. Offer more to your staff and they will give you more, not just salary , holidays , healthcare etc.
Quite possibly the worst experience of my working life. Environment is very hostile with a finger pointing culture. Turn over is very high and pay is very low as a result. The fact the MD is paying himself this much explains why the events are so underfunded and poorly attended. Avoid at all costs
