What are company outings like at Trucking?
We don't tend to have many company outings.
What is the daily attire at Trucking?
In the dispatch office, casual office attire. In the truck, clean work wear (i.e., jeans or similar work pants and shirt, without offensive prints, holes or stains.
What is Trucking's policy towards pets in the workplace?
Depends on the company and the position. Some pets are allowed in the truck with the drivers. A few smaller offices sometimes allow a pet, but I don't believe that is very common.
How long do the interviews usually take at Trucking?
Mine took about ten minutes.

Office: nice clothes & be clean & presentable. Driver: clean clothes. Dock: nothing ratty or homeless looking.

The lady who was to be my mgr gave me my interview. I was hired after a ten minute conversation & started the next day.
How much diversity is there among employees at Trucking?
About half our total workforce is either black or Hispanic. I am including drivers, dock personnel and office staff.
How do I do well in an interview at Trucking?
Simple: most freight companies are down to earth, straight forward types. Look them in the eye & answer questions and give info in a straight forward manner. Be alert and loose any attitude towards a previous employer or the world in general before that interview. Be presentable, clean clothes etc. DO NOT LIE!!!!

Experience, application filled out completely, ability to read, write & speak English. Explanation as to how to get from our bldg to certain points within our operational geography.

Short, sweet & to the point. No time for pleasantries with full background checks for DMV & criminal history.
What part of Trucking's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Customer base / revenues are growing. Admin is playing catchup but we have good people in that capacity & the girls there will do their part.
