Very open and collaborative mentality.
Opportunity to make an impact.
Working with coworkers who are genuinely open to different points of view.
Overall I believe they listen to the employees and care about improving the Arbiter employee experience.
The company seems dedicated to progress and recognizing employees (although the methods used could be improved)
Attitude of "we're in this together" and intense customer focus. I also love how the executive team genuinely cares about employees and listens to us. This company culture has progressed so much in the last year.
They are servant leaders who trust their team members. They assign problems for teams to solve then give them flexibility in how to solve them. For the most part, they don't impose arbitrary deadlines. They care about employees.
I love working with the PMs. They are very customer focused and open to collaboration. I've loved having Amir and starting to see a trend to hiring Front End focused developers. We're definitely heading in the right direction.
Base pay is 25% below standard market rates. No stock options which is standard at most other software companies. Bonus is half what most other companies offer. I've had multiple candidates I've referred for various positions mention it. So have current employees. So I know I'm not alone.
I am paid 20-30% below market rates for my experience, role, and skillset. Also, we are one of the only companies our size in the area who don't offer stock options to employees. This makes it hard to want to stick around long term to help the company grow.
