How much and how often do raises happen at CSRA Inc?
Varies. Sometimes every 2-3 years
This has been very much in flux since the merger of CSC Fed & SRA. We had not received a raise since the merger (at least 2 years), but merit increases returned last year. In the past, they have been ~1.5% annually, depending on your performance review.

How secure do you feel at your job at CSRA Inc?
CSRA as in contracting company is contengent on the programs that they are awarded and depending on what the staffing plan for that program is determines they workforce. Then if they are awarded another term or if they loose the contract or have to down size based on the award. I would work here with the understanding that at anytime I have the potential of losing my job if the contract isn't continued or they're isn't a project for me to work on or roll over to. Contract work is that mucky gray area.

People here are very cynical and seem to only focus on what is NOT happening as opposed to what HAS happened.
How does CSRA Inc make decisions around promotions?
Not sure. Rarely see anyone getting promoted. Last year no one got a raise. (except for upper management of course)
