Mr. Matt Thompson has been Senior Vice President of Operations at Glowpoint, Inc. since December 2013 and served as its Vice President of Operations since joining in 2012. Mr. Thompson leads all service and support operations including conference production, customer service and Business-Class Support services such as monitoring, management and Helpdesk. He is a visionary in the area of customer service, dedicated to driving results through innovative problem solving, process optimization and change management. He served as Senior Director of Operations at Affinity VideoNet, Inc., since October 2012 and oversaw support and service functions. He has more than 13 years of experience with audio, web and video conferencing, having held various director level roles at Raindance Communications and InterCall. He has built and led large support teams and has focused on delivering high-touch, customer-centric service with the goal of ensuring an exceptional customer service experience. During the last 10 years of working in the conferencing industry, he has worked to build, re-engineer and redefine large customer support organizations while leading his teams towards a shared mission and dedication to customer satisfaction. Mr. Thompson holds MBA in Business and Technology Management and earned has Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
