More transparency, better communication from the management, better understanding of the pulse of the employees
If the interviewer is good, it is a pleasant experience, else it is just a formality
There is no basis for determination of compensation - if you threaten to leave, you will be paid what you demand, else you can work like a donkey but no one will acknowledge the hard work.
