How's the work life balance at NTT DATA?

It is bad. You will work for client, then for NTT, and then they will make you enroll in the Community or Practices where you will completely waste your time in name of playing games. Only people with plenty of time to waste will be successful in this company.

How much and how often do raises happen at NTT DATA?

Annually, % depends on individual performance
While NTT does annual reviews...they are pretty much pointless. Sure you might get a "raise" but it is never more than a cost of living raise like 1-2%. But that is is you are lucky. I have been there over 10 years and I get good to great reviews but often get 0%. It is pretty ridiculous. But I get to work from home and as a result of them not giving raises I work less and less. I try and only put in 15-20 hours of work.
Not much and not often.....been here for 2 years and got a measly 2% raise.....not cool! There are people that have been here for 4-5 years and not gotten a raise.
Does NTT DATA have any remote positions?

All sales positions are remote. Many delivery roles are as well.

It varies by position, as it should. But overall, it breaks down as follows 1. Screening call with Talent Acquisition 2. First call with HR / Hiring Manager 3. Second call with others on the hiring team 4. In-person meeting at the nearest office (could be an interview / simply meet-n-greet with a few folks, incl HR) 5. Offer letter 6. Onboarding

1. Provide greater visibility to opportunities that will move them up their career ladder. Today, it is largely left to the individual and how driven and resourceful they are. 2. Mentor leaders and managers on how they can mentor rising stars and give them feedback and coaching to grow within the firm 3. Invest more in innovative tools for onboarding, training credits, feedback and shared learning and make that front and center 4. Have the CEO and his executive team become more savvy on social media and using digital tools to promote the digital mindset from the top down
By giving employees 40 hours of PTO and separate hours for sick time and vacation time instead of making employees accrue time and forcing us to go into negative hours just to take a day off.

I have worked for NTT DATA for 21 years and see many incarnations of the company said. Over the years, I have worked out 3 offices - Columbus Ohio (1996-2000), Maine (2001-2003), Boston (2003-2017). With that background, I will say that the company as it stands today under the leadership of John McCain is a great company to work for. No company is perfect, and there is always room for improvement. That said, I will say thgat the office vibe is - modern, customer and employee focused, friendly and progressive. As the 6th largest systems integrator, the company is always at the leading edge of technology and pushing boundaries constantly. Leadership is stable, employee focused, looking to grow talent, supports workplace diversity (there is always room for improvement in this regard), empowers women, supports causes (local and national). It is a great place to work. I am no longer with them, but that does not change how I feel about the company and its leadership.

If you will accept low salary then you are hired.

How are the career growth opportunities on the Finance team at NTT DATA?
none. They promise to promote within but I have been here for seven years waiting to be manager or director. Only politicians who can spend extra time in office will be promoted. Most managers and Directors came from outside and not within the company.

None! There are things I could be doing remotely but they don't allow it

US CEO has only been in the role 3 months. The previous CEO is on the Board. We are all very pleased that the previous CEO is around still and hope to have similar experience with the new CEO.

It's no team spirit, no one wants to be here! 8 hours a day!

It's ok but no raises so it's not that great!

They don't give raises and they can care less about their staff! There are people that haven't had raises in over 3 years! Just ridiculous!

They gave me an AWFUL raise after being here for almost 2 years. I'm looking for a new job as we speak! #ugh
