It's just an awesome place to me.
pay was the only reason to stay working here
Compensation is lacking, upward mobility is limited. Individual managers can be make or break for the morale of the department and decisions from higher up never seem to be in the best interests of actual workers. Forcing workers to return to the office when its not necessary is a bad move.
Not much structure or quality around giving feedback. At other companies, it is a highly codified method to ensure the messages are being communicated clearly, but here your level is mostly in your line manager's head.
