They are smart, dedicated and truly have a desire to shape the future nurses we are teaching. They are committed to the students in every aspect.
Feeling like I made a difference in the students lives that day. SJVC does not provide much direction but I know I am committed and do my best to provide a productive learning environment.
I am happy with my pay at this time, raises should be incorporated as time goes on. I have NEVER had a review so I actually do not have feedback on my performance. Otherwise it is well. I do not have benefits through SJVC in terms of insurance.
At this campus we are working together and have a united accord there are changes we all need to make but we all work together. As a whole, I am not convinced that SJVC cares about the process/success of the LVN students. There are severe deficits within the curriculum that are constant issues.
My local manager is wonderful, she is helpful, kind and loves her job. It is a privilege to work with her. It is upper management that is disappointing. When the campus is in need of changes or items to address, the upper management is not present and seems to not care. At least thats how it seems.
