How employees describe working at The Bouqs
The company lacks direction, the BUs have created competing goals within the company with no clear vision of how to work together cohesively. Supporting teams are expected to be everywhere at once an BUs are trying to run before they can crawl. Lack of tech makes growth challenging.
The BU's were done without regard to skills or aspirations. Teams lack mentorship, morale, and direction. Unhealthy competition w/in the BU's. The brand feels muddled. Difficult to get anything done quickly. Decisions are made by people not skilled to make them.
There have been growing pains in the past, but for me the most rewarding part for me is being part of a growing team. I would however like to be learning something new regularly, sometimes I feel a little stuck with the same routine.

What is The Bouqs' policy towards pets in the workplace?
Well behaved and vaccinated dogs are welcome in our office! We love fur babies!

Jeans and T’s
Pretty casual. Folk where what makes them feel comfortable. It ranges from jeans and t-shirts to more business casual.
How does The Bouqs make decisions around promotions?
Promotions are decided by the executive committee upon nomination. This can happen at review time which is generally in June and December, or it can happen when a role becomes vacant.
Most people stay at the title they came in with - the company is very young and promotions come in after 4 or 5 years of doing a great job typically.
How's the work life balance at The Bouqs?
Generally good. It can get busy, but most folks are good at managing their time and prioritizing their balance.

Bouqs provides medical, dental and vision and covers up to 80% of premiums depending on the plan chosen. The company also provides stock options to all employees, and a Flex or Accrual based PTO policy.

It’s an open space with a ton of room, great shared collaboration areas and a ton of meeting spaces. Music is always playing and it smells great with the flowers around the office.

We offer two options, to empower employees to choose what’s best for their lifestyle and need: 1. A traditional accrual based option and 2. A Flex Time option. Accrual starts at 2 weeks and grows to 4 weeks with Tenure. Flex is Flex! Both are popular and used by employees.
