Mr. Holifield was the architect that led the transformation of the Office Depot, Inc. merchandising systems platform. Mr. Holifield joined Office Depot in 1994 as Director of Transportation and subsequently progressed through positions of responsibility in the supply chain area, including distribution operations, supply chain development and inventory management and replenishment. He was promoted to Senior Vice President, Supply Chain in 1997 and most recently was named Executive Vice President, Supply Chain, with responsibility for all Distribution, Transportation, Inventory Management and Supply Chain Development activities in North America. During his 12 years at Office Depot, Inc., he held various roles of increasing responsibility, including senior vice president and vice president supply chain management, vice president transportation and logistics and director traffic and transportation. He was the architect that led the transformation of the Office Depot, Inc. merchandising systems platform. Prior to joining Office Depot, he served as Director of Consulting Projects at Dallas Systems Corporation, a supply chain execution systems provider. He began his retail distribution career in 1977 with H-E-Butt Grocery Company and subsequently worked in logistics with Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo. Mr. Holifield holds an MBA from Baylor University and a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
