Mr. Peter Chu has been the Chief Financial Officer of BroadVision, Inc. since July 11, 2014 and has been its Vice President of Strategy & Product Management since October 2011. Mr. Chu served as Vice President of Strategy, Product Management and Marketing at BroadVision until July 11, 2014. He served as Managing Partner at AsiaTech Ventures Limited. Mr. Chu was responsible for United States investments, operations, business development and partnerships. Mr. Chu facilitates the technology transfer from companies in the United States to portfolio companies in Asia and helps Asian resources and opportunities to the United States companies. He focuses on investments in Internet and Enterprise Applications. He is a veteran executive of the software and venture capital industries. He was Senior Advisor at Inspirior, LLC for over a decade. In these roles, he manages investments, strategic, operational and M&A advisory projects with an emphasis on cross-border opportunities between US, Japan and Greater China. His projects included EachNet (acquired by eBay), PCNAlert (acquired by IHS), Vialto (acquired by Cisco), OnVantage (merged with StarCite), Ceiva Logic, ActionRun and Agito/Wow-Auctions. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of ApaceWave Technologies, a US and Greater China based fabless IC developer of 4G SoCs; Executive Chairman of PCNAlert,. He began his career as a technical and marketing executive at Oracle Corporation and Verity (acquired by Autonomy/HP). He has over two decades of entrepreneurial and management experience in private and growth companies - he is an entrepreneur, venture capitalist and strategic advisor. Mr. Chu was a serial entrepreneur. He co-founded Channel A from 1996 to 1998 and served as its President. Mr. Chu was a co-founder and a Marketing Director at Envive Corporation from 1995 to 1996. Previously, he worked at Verity Inc. as Product Manager from 1994 to 1995. Prior to this, Mr. Chu worked for Oracle Corporation from 1986 to 1992 in key management roles developing Oracles??? international and systems and network businesses in Asia and Latin America. He serves as the Chairman of Monte Jade West Coast, a technology association that spans US and Greater China. Additionally, he is on the Board of Ceiva Logic and ActionRun. He served as Director of Dynaptics Corporation, iTango Software and OnVantage, Inc. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
