The people at Mapbox are very positive. We're still figuring out how to build connection and culture virtually, some teams do it better than others, but people want to be here are making effort to connect with each other. I appreciate that the most.

On my team we make decisions like a team. We do regular operational planning together, debate and decide on goals, and check in and support each other. If we miss on something, we learn how to do better as a team instead of blaming one person.

Our leadership team walks the right balance between being honest yet energizing, and between involving us in company business while also doing their job and letting us focus on ours. It's not a small startup anymore, and I feel I can trust our executives to steer the ship.
