Start supporting jr level growth. Fair pay. New mgmt board w/ EPs that care about jr lawyers and staff.
My contract (jr) partner salary is ~$50k less than comparable (or even smaller) tampa firms. Bonus less too. Stay bc of yrs of service, like coworkers and… carrot-dangled future.
1) Prioritizng selves. EPs earn$$$$$ by underpaying+promoting less and less jr ptnrs+assocs. 2) Mgmt board=5 old guys in MIA+ORL who don’t know or care about maj of jr ptnrs+assocs. 3) Loyalty means N zip. Lateral hires $$$>internally promoted$.
