Ms. Kamil Ali-Jackson, J.D., co-founded Aclaris Therapeutics, Inc. in July 2012 and has been its Chief Legal Officer since July 2012 and has been its Secretary since August 2015 and serves as its Chief compliance officer. Ms. Ali-Jackson serves as a Partner of NeXeption, LLC. She served as the Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary of Ceptaris Therapeutics, Inc. (formerly Yaupon Therapeutics, Inc.). She served as Assistant Secretary of Aclaris Therapeutics, Inc. from July 2012 to August 2015. She served as an Interim General Counsel of Iroko Pharmaceuticals, LLC until April 2012. She has over 29 years of legal experience as in-house and external legal counsel in the pharmaceutical, specialty pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. She has extensive domestic and international legal and business experience in the area of product licensing, commercial transactions, FDA regulatory matters, product liability management and corporate governance matters. Prior to joining Iroko, she served as the General Counsel and Secretary of Ception Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to joining Ception Therapeutics, Inc., Ms. Ali-Jackson served as the Associate General Counsel and Vice President of Legal of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Inc. Prior to that, Ms. Ali-Jackson served as General Counsel of Caresoft, Inc., a healthcare information and record management company. Before her tenure with Caresoft, she served as the Associate General Counsel and Vice President of Endo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company. Before joining Endo, she served as Legal Counsel for the vaccine and human health divisions of Merck & Co, Inc. in their human health pharmaceutical and vaccine divisions as well as a Licensing Executive. In 2011 and was named a ???Woman of Distinction??? by the Philadelphia Business Journal. She is a Member of both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars. Ms. Ali-Jackson obtained her JD from Harvard Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University.
