Mr. Jeffrey G. Black, also known as Jeff, has been Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Alphatec Holdings, Inc. and Alphatec Spine Inc. since March 6, 2017. Mr. Black has been Principal Financial & Accounting Officer at Alphatec Spine, Inc. since March 31, 2017. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial and operations management. Over the course of his professional career, he has been in financial leadership roles while raising more than $500 million in strategic, equity and debt-financing transactions. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Applied Proteomics, Inc. since September 2015. Mr. Black served as the Chief Financial Officer of AltheaDx, Inc. from April 2014 to September 2015. Mr. Black served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of BASF Enzymes LLC (formerly, Verenium Corporation) since June 2007 and March 31, 2011, respectively until its acquisition by BASF Corporation in December 2013 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer from 2005 to March 2011. Mr. Black served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Verenium Corporation from November 2008 to April 2009 and served as its Vice President since April 25, 2005. He served as Chief Accounting Officer of Verenium Corporation since April 25, 2005. He joined Diversa Corp. from Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (formerly Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) where he served as Executive Director of Accounting and Corporate Controller from October 2003 to April 2005. From August 2000 to October 2003, Mr. Black served as a Principal and Interim Financial Executive of Regent Pacific Management Corporation. While at Regent Pacific, he served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller of Clarent Corporation and as Vice President and Corporate Controller of Accelerated Networks, Inc., both telecommunications companies. He began his career at Ernst & Young. From February 2000 to August 2000, Mr. Black served as Executive Director of Finance and Administration of EntryPoint, Inc. From 1999 to 2000, Mr. Black served as the Corporate Controller of Lightspan Inc. He serves as a Director of Cellana Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Black graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Arizona in 1991.

Mr. Michael C. Plunkett, also known as Mike, has been Consultant of Alphatec Holdings, Inc. since November 15, 2017. Mr. Plunkett has been the Chief Operating Officer of Alphatec Spine, Inc. since January 2014 and its President since September 2016. He served as the President of Alphatec Holdings, Inc. since September 15, 2016 until November 15, 2017 and served as its Chief Operating Officer since April 2014 until November 15, 2017. He served as Vice President of Operations at Alphatec Spine, Inc from March 2012 to January 2014. Mr. Plunkett served as a Managing Director of Loan Operations and Information Technology at The First Marblehead Corporation since September 2008. Mr. Plunkett served as Senior Vice President of Loan Operations and Head of Loan Origination and Information Technology department at The First Marblehead Corporation since September 22, 2008 and September 2008 respectively. He was with First Marblehead since 2003. He served as an Officer in the United States Navy from 1979 to 2003. While in the Navy he served in a variety of ashore and afloat positions, including Supply Officer, USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) and the primary assistant to the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, Fleet Readiness and Logistics. Mr. Plunkett retired from the United States Navy with the rank of Captain. Mr. Plunkett received a B.S. from Saint John Fisher College, an M.S. from the Naval Postgraduate School and an M.A. from the Naval War College.

Mr. Ebun S. Garner, Esq., has been Executive Officer of Alphatec Holdings, Inc. and Alphatec Spine, Inc. since February 28, 2017. Mr. Garner served as Senior Vice President of Alphatec Holdings, Inc. from April 2010 to February 28, 2017 and served as its General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from 2006 to February 28, 2017. Mr. Garner served as Consultant at Alphatec Spine, Inc. from February 28, 2017 to February 28, 2017. He served as Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel at Alphatec Spine, Inc. from April 2014 to February 28, 2017. He served as a Vice President of Compliance and Legal Affairs of Alphatec Holdings Inc. and Alphatec Spine Inc. from September 2005 to August 2006. Mr. Garner serves as General Counsel and Secretary of Alphatec Holdings Inc. From July 2000 until August 2005, Mr. Garner was a corporate associate in the New York office of the law firm of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. While at Mintz Levin, Mr. Garner provided counsel to a variety of orthopedic device and drug discovery companies. From September 1999 until July 2000, he was a corporate associate in the New York office of the law firm of Squadron, Ellenoff, Plesent and Sheinfeld, LLP. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Mr. Garner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law where he was a member of the Review of Law and Social Change.
