Dr. B. Sonny Bal, M.D., J.D., MBA, PhD, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Amedica Corporation since October 2014, its Principal Financial Officer since October 6, 2016 and Chairman since August 21, 2014. Dr. Bal serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Missouri, Columbia, specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Bal is Professor & Chief of Adult Reconstruction at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He also is an Adjunct Professor of Material Sciences at the University of Missouri at Rolla. Dr. Bal has been a Director of Amedica Corporation since February 8, 2012. Dr. Bal received his M.D. degree from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, a J.D. from the University of Missouri, a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Kyoto Institute of Technology in Japan and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the International Society of Technology in Arthroplasty. Dr. Bal is a licensed attorney and co-founder of the Bal Brenner law firm in North Carolina.

Mr. Dana Lyons has been Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Amedica Corporation since November 2016. Mr. Lyons joins Amedica after holding Multiple Sales Management and Sales Leadership positions with Stryker Orthopaedics, Zimmer Spine and Zimmer Biomet Spine. During his tenure as Sales Vice President with Zimmer Spine and in conjunction with the Zimmer Spine executive leadership team, Zimmer Spine delivered 5 consecutive quarters of growth from 2014 to 2015. After the Zimmer and Biomet merger in June of 2015, Mr. Lyons successfully integrated the sales organizations of both Zimmer Spine and Biomet Spine in the Central Region of the United States. Mr. Lyons has a B.S. in Business from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Mr. Bryan J. McEntire, MBA, PhD, has been the Chief Technology Officer at Amedica Corporation since May 2012. Mr. McEntire served as Vice President of Manufacturing at Amedica Corporation since August 2004 until May 2012 and served as its Vice President of Research since December 2006 until May 2012. Mr. McEntire has more than 30 years of experience in advanced ceramic product development, quality engineering and manufacturing. Since 1998, he served as Senior Director of supply chain management in Applied Materials in Silicon Valley from April 1998 to August 2004, where Mr. McEntire managed the supply chain, which included the negotiation of supply contracts and supervision of vendor production of various parts, including precision ceramic parts, which were integrated into the capital equipment made and sold by Applied Materials. He served as the General Manager, Norton Advanced Ceramics, a division of Saint-Gobain Industrial Ceramics Corporation from 1993 to 1998, where he managed four manufacturing plants in the U.S, all dedicated to the production of innovative ceramic products. He has broad based experience in small to high volume manufacture of high quality cost competitive advanced products. Mr. McEntire is also an internationally recognized expert in ceramics, served as an invited lecturer at the American Ceramic Society and National Institute of Ceramics Engineers. His experience and knowledge in all aspects of precision high technology ceramics products, especially in manufacturing operations and supply chain management, provides him a unique ability to lead Amedica's advancement of its innovative orthopedic products through development and clinical trials, toward commercial introduction. He holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees in Materials Science and Engineering and Operations Management, respectively, both from the University of Utah and a Ph.D. from the Kyoto Institute of Technology.

Mr. David O'Brien has been the Vice President of Operations at Amedica Corporation since May 2015. Mr. O'Brien joined Amedica in March 2014 as Vice President of Manufacturing. He has over 24 years of industrial experience in the manufacturing of medical devices and ceramics. From 2005 to 2014, he fulfilled several engineering leadership roles for Covidien including Manufacturing Engineering Manager for the Norfolk, Nebraska facility. From 1991 to 2005, he worked for Arnold Magnetic Technologies in the production of ceramic, powder metal and molded magnets in multiple facilities across the US and in England. He has extensive experience with Lean and other Continuous Improvement initiatives. Mr. O'Brien holds an M.S. in Ceramic Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Mr. Clay Smith serves as Senior Director of Global Marketing at Amedica Corporation. Mr. Smith serves as National Sales Director of OrthoHelix Surgical Designs, Inc.

Ken Ludwig serves as the VP - Marketing for Amedica Corporation. Ken started at Amedica Corporation in December of . Ken is based in the Greater Salt Lake City Area.

Bryan McEntire serves as the Chief Scientific Officer for SINTX Technologies. Bryan started at SINTX Technologies in October of 2018. Bryan is based in the Greater Salt Lake City Area.
