Mr. Marc J. Rowan serves as a Senior Managing Director, Co-Founder since 1990, and Director since January 2008 of Apollo Global Management, LLC. Previously, Mr. Rowan served as a Senior Partner at Apollo Management, L.P. from 1990 to June 25, 2005. Previously, he served as a Vice President and Member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department, Incorporated, with responsibilities in high yield financing, transaction idea generation and merger structure negotiation at Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. from 1985 to 1990. Previously, Mr. Rowan served as a Vice President at New Street Capital Corporation. He has been a Director of Athene Holding Ltd. since 2009, Caesars Entertainment Operating Company, Inc. since June 27, 2014, Mobile Satellite Ventures LP since November 2001, Caesars Acquisition Company at Caesars Growth Properties Holdings, LLC since April 2013, Farley Inc., The National Jewish Outreach Program, Wharton Private Equity Partners, MSV LP, Horseshoe Casino Hotel, Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., The Undergraduate Executive Board of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, Jerusalem Online, New York City Police Foundation, and the Rowan Family Foundation. Previously, Mr. Rowan served as a Director of RCS Capital Corporation from August 19, 2015 to November 9, 2015, NFP Corp, Furniture Brands International, Cablecom GmbH, IESY, Beats Music, Countrywide PLC, and Samsonite Corporation. Prior to this, he served as the Chairman of Advisory Board of Unity Media GmbH from 2003 to 2005. Previously, Mr. Rowan served as a Director of SkyTerra Communications Inc. from June 1999 to June 6, 2005. Prior to this, he served as an Independent Director of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. from January 2008 to April 24, 2014. He served as a Director of Caesars Entertainment Corporation since January 2008. In past, Mr. Rowan served as a Director of AAA Guernsey Limited at AP Alternative Assets LP. Previously, he served as a Director of Unitymedia GmbH from 2005 to March 2007, Unitymedia SA at Unitymedia Hessen GmbH & Co. He has extensive leadership experience, including his service on the boards of both public and private companies along with financial expertise and significant experience in private equity investments. Mr. Rowan graduated summa cum laude from The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business with an M.B.A. degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Science.
