Mr. Michael Lewis Smith serves as the Senior Partner of the Private Debt Group of Ares Management LLC and Ares Capital Management LLC. Mr. Smith serves as a Partner of the Ares Credit Group. He serves as a Partner of Ares Management GP LLC at Ares Management, L.P. Mr. Smith has been the Co-President of Ares Capital Corporation since July 2014 and served as its Executive Vice President from May 2013 to July 2014. Prior to joining Ares in 2004, Mr. Smith was a Partner of RBC Capital Partners. He served as Vice President and Principal Finance of RBC Capital Partners. He served as Vice President of RBC Leveraged Capital. Mr. Smith joined RBC in October 2001. He served as Vice President of Merchant Banking Group at Indosuez Capital. Mr. Smith worked at Kenter, Glastris & Company and at Salomon Brothers Inc., in their Debt Capital Markets Group and Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Smith has a Masters in Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BS in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.

Mr. Craig Shirey serves as Managing Director of Ares Capital Corporation. Mr. Shirey serves as the Principal at Ares Capital Management LLC and Ares Management LLC. He holds BSBA from Villanova University.

Mr. Brian S. Goldman serves as the Managing Director of Ares Management LLC and Ares Capital Corporation. Mr. Goldman focuses on investments in Private Debt at Ares Management LLC and was a Principal at the firm. Mr. Goldman is a Managing Director in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on U.S. direct lending. He serves as Principal of Ares Capital Management LLC. Prior to joining Ares Management, he served as an Associate in the Principal Investment Area at Goldman, Sachs and Co., where Mr. Goldman evaluated, structured, and executed mezzanine investments for the GS Mezzanine Partners funds. Prior to joining Apax in July 2000, Mr. Goldman served as a Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., where Mr. Goldman helped provide financial and strategic advice to companies in a wide range of industries, including the energy and technology sectors. He received an M.B.A. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business and a B.B.A. in Finance, with highest distinction, from the Goizueta Business School from Emory University.

Mr. Daniel Katz, also known as Dan, serves as Partner at Ares Capital Corporation. Mr. Katz serves as Managing Director and Co-Head of Portfolio Management of Ares Management LLC and Ares Capital Management LLC. At Ares Management, Mr. Katz focuses on investments in Private Debt. He joined Ares Management in March 2006. Previously, he served as Vice President of CDG Group, LLC (Conway, Del Genio, Gries and Co., LLC) (CDG). At Conway, Del Genio, he provided a broad range of financial and operational restructuring services to various constituencies including debtors, senior bank lenders, noteholders, and other creditor groups. Prior to joining CDG, Mr. Katz was a Senior Consultant of Ernst & Young, LLP where he focused on middle market transactions. He served as a Director of Planet Health Corp (Planet Organic Health Corp.) from May 2009 to March 2010. He received a B.A. in Economics, from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Michael A. Dieber serves as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Portfolio Management at Ares Management LLC. Mr. Dieber serves as a Managing Director at Ares Capital Corporation and Ares Capital Management LLC. Mr. Dieber has been a Co-Head of the Portfolio Management Group for New York office at Ares Capital Corporation since July 2008. He supplements Ares Capital's existing sourcing of stressed and rescue financing opportunities that are presenting themselves in the current environment. He served as a Managing Director of Conway Del Genio Gries & Co., LLC (CDG) for almost nine years. Prior to that, Mr. Dieber was a Partner of Restructuring and Reorganization Group of Ernst & Young LLP.

Mr. Greg Galligan serves as Managing Director at Ares Capital Corporation. Mr. Galligan is a Managing Director in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on U.S. direct lending and is responsible for originating and managing leveraged finance and private capital investments. He serves as Principal of Ares Capital Management LLC. Prior to joining Ares in 2011, Mr. Galligan was a Vice President at DLJ Investment Partners, where he focused on structuring and executing junior debt financings for private equity sponsored leveraged buyouts. Previously, he held various roles at Goldman Sachs, Capital Source and Bank of America, where he focused on originating, structuring and executing senior debt, mezzanine and equity investments. Mr. Galligan holds a B.A. from Boston College in Economics and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Mark R. Affolter serves as a Managing Director at Ares Private Debt Group and Ares Capital Management LLC. Mr. Affolter joined Ares Private Debt on February 25, 2008. Mr. Affolter is a Partner of Ares Management LLC. He has been Managing Director of Ares Capital Corporation since July 2008. Mr. Affolter served as the Head, Midwest sponsor coverage for new Chicago at Ares Capital Corporation since July 2008. Mr. Affolter served as Managing Director at Ares Management LLC. He served as Managing Director of CIT Global Sponsor Finance unit of Cit Group Inc.'s Corporate Finance Group since April 2006. Mr. Affolter led the Sponsor Finance Midwest coverage team at CIT. He joined CIT in 2005. He served for eight years at GE and Heller Corporate Finance serving in various capacities including mezzanine finance and syndications. Mr. Affolter served as Managing Director of GE Corporate Financial Services, Inc. He served as Senior Managing Director of GE Global Sponsor Finance, where he led a middle market sponsor coverage team, marketing leveraged finance products to private equity sponsors throughout the Midwest, Canada, and Boston from 2003 to 2005. Mr. Affolter was instrumental in founding a mezzanine team within GE Merchant Banking and was responsible for structuring, pricing and syndicating leveraged, private equity sponsored loans at Heller Corporate Finance. Mr. Affolter joined as a Member of CIT's M&A Advisory group and was charged with building its presence in the Midwest sponsor community. He began his career at LaSalle Bank. Mr. Affloter graduated from Washington University in St. Louis.

Mr. Scott C. Lem has been the Chief Accounting Officer of Ares Capital Corporation since December 5, 2013. Mr. Lem has been Vice President and Treasurer of Ares Capital Corporation since December 5, 2013. Mr. Lem serves as the Manager of Finance and Accounting at Ares Management LLC. Mr. Lem has been the Chief Accounting Officer of Ares Capital Management LLC since January 2009. Mr. Lem served as an Assistant Treasurer of Ares Capital Corporation of Ares Capital Management LLC since May 2009 until. He joined Ares Management in July 2003, where he focuses on investments in Private Debt Group. From July 2003 to December 2008, Mr. Lem served as Controller of Ares Management. Previously, Mr. Lem served as an Executive at Ernst & Young LLP. At Arthur Andersen & Co, he served as a Senior Associate conducting audits for clients across several industries including entertainment, hospitality and real estate. He was a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Lem received an M.B.A. in Finance from UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management, a B.S. in Accounting, summa cum laude from the University of Southern California's Leventhal School of Accounting, and a B.S. in Business Administration, summa cum laude from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business.
