Mr. Richard E. Konzmann, also known as Rich, has been the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Arlington Asset Investment Corp. since March 23, 2015. Prior to this, Mr. Konzmann served as the Senior Vice President of Accounting and Reporting at American Capital, Ltd since 2006. He was responsible for all accounting, external and internal financial reporting, loan servicing, investment accounting and tax compliance for American Capital and its funds under management, including publicly traded mortgage real estate investment trusts, publicly traded business development companies and private equity funds. Mr. Konzmann joined American Capital on September 2002 as its Controller. Prior to that, he served as the Vice President of Corporate Accounting at Crestline Capital Corporation from December 1998 to August 2002 and also served as a Controller. Before that, Mr. Konzmann worked at Host Marriott Corporation, where he served in various roles with Host Marriott in corporate accounting and asset management from November 1993 to December 1998. Prior to that, Mr. Konzmann served at Deloitte and Touche LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Valuation Analyst. Mr. Konzmann graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Mr. Benjamin J. Strickler has been Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Arlington Asset Investment Corp. since October 23, 2017. Mr. Strickler served as Vice President and Controller of Arlington Asset Investment Corp. since June 2015. Prior to Arlington Asset Investment Corp., Mr. Strickler was a Director of Accounting Policy for the Investments & Capital Markets Segment of Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, or Freddie Mac, beginning in May 2013. Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Mr. Strickler worked in the Banking Capital Markets Assurance Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he began as an associate in January 2007, eventually rising to Senior Associate in 2009 and Manager in July 2011. Mr. Strickler holds B.B.A. and M.S. in Accounting degrees from James Madison University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Brian J. Bowers serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager of Arlington Asset Investment Corp. (alternate name FBR Group, Inc.). Mr. Bowers serves as Managing Director of Mortgage-Backed Securities of Arlington Asset Investment Corp. He is responsible for management of FBR's mortgage-related investments. He serves as Chief Financial Officer/Portfolio Manager with FBR Asset Investment Corp. He is also employed at Arlington Asset Investment Corp., Investment Arm. He is responsible for the principal investing activities of Arlington's portfolio, overseeing the daily investing operations and the direction of the portfolio. He joined FBR Group, Inc. with over 20 years of fixed income experience, portfolio analysis and management. He served as Managing Director of FBR Group Inc. Prior to joining FBR, he served as the Chief Portfolio Strategist for BB&T Capital Markets and the Portfolio Manager/Plan Sponsor of CareFirst, Inc. from April 2000 to March 2002. For 10 years prior to that, he served as a Portfolio Manager for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Mr. Bowers was responsible for the principal investing activities of FBR's mortgage portfolio, overseeing the daily investing operations and the strategic direction of the portfolio, the daily administration of Georgetown Funding and Arlington Funding, hedging activities, as well as coordinating FNLC's (sub-prime originator) whole loan sales and securitizations. He served as Treasurer of Bucs Financial Corp. and also of its subsidiary BUCS Federal Bank since 1995. He served as Director of Bucs Financial Corp. and BUCS Federal Bank since 1995. Mr. Bowers holds an M.B.A. from Loyola College and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland.

Mr. Eric F. Billings serves as a Senior Managing Partner and Co-Portfolio Manager of Billings Capital Management, LLC and BCM Weston L.P. Mr. Billings joined Billings Capital Management in January of 2009. He serves as Portfolio Manager of LoCorr Investment Trust - LoCorr Long/Short Equity Fund. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Friedman Billings Ramsey Group Inc. since April 28, 2004. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Arlington Asset Investment Corp from April 28, 2005 to June 2014 and also served as its Chairman until June 11, 2014. He Co-founded Arlington Asset Investment in 1989. He entered the securities industry in 1982, when he joined Legg Mason Wood Walker & Co. Inc. Mr. Billings Founded FBR & Co. in 1989 and served as its Chief Executive Officer from June 2006 to January 1, 2009 and as its Chairman of the Board from June 2006 to June 5, 2012. He is involved in FBR Group's investment banking, research, brokerage and asset management activities. He served as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Director of FBR Asset Investment Corp. since April 2000 and also served as its Vice Chairman, President and Chief Operating Officer from 1997 to April 2000. From 1984 to 1989, Mr. Billings served as the Senior Vice President in the institutional sales group at Johnston, Lemon & Co. Inc. observing many of the same trends in the energy sector, in 1997, he created FBR's energy group. and the Manager of FBR Asset Investment Corp.'s assets. He has been an Executive Chairman and Director of Arlington Asset Investment Corp. since 1989 Mr. Billings served as the Chairman of FBR Investment Management Inc. He serves as a Director of FBR Investment Management, Inc. He serves on the board of Wish Friends, Inc. Mr. Billings actively supports a number of charitable organizations, personally and through the Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Charitable Foundation. He serves on the boards of The Washington Scholarship Fund and Catholic Charities. He serves on the Boards of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, Center for Financial Policy Advisory Board and the Board of Visitors for the Robert H. Smith School of Business and Greater Washington Sports Alliance. He serves on the Board of Advisors for Capital Partners for Education and the Board of Trustees for the Mid Atlantic Tennis Foundation. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Friedman Billings Ramsey Group Inc. since April 28, 2005. He served as a Director of FBR & Co. from June 2006 to June 5, 2012. Mr. Billings holds a B.A. in Economics and Finance from the University of Maryland in 1976.

Mr. Robert C. Dean is the Senior Vice President and Director of Risk Management at Friedman Billings Ramsey Group Inc. He is also the Director of Risk Management at FBR Investment Management, Inc. As such, Mr. Dean is responsible for overseeing all of the financial and non-financial risks of FBR and its operating subsidiaries. In this role, he reports to FBR's Chief Operating Officer and is also responsible to FBR's Risk Policy and Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining FBR in April 2004, Mr. Dean served as a Senior Risk Officer at Freddie Mac, J.P. Morgan, and Salomon Brothers. He has had extensive capital markets risk management experience, with expertise in mortgages, OTC derivatives, fixed-income securities, and counterparty credit risk management. Mr. Dean started his career as a CPA at Coopers & Lybrand, a big 8 accounting firm, in New York and graduated from University of Massachusetts/Amherst in 1985 with a degree in Accounting.

Philip C. Gardner served as Managing Director at JMP Securities LLC. Mr. Gardner has been Friedman Billings Ramsey Group Inc.'s Senior Managing Director, Institutional Sales of San Francisco since October 30, 2002. Mr. Gardner previously served as Managing Director, Institutional Sales Division of Robertson, Stephens & Co. as well as founder and director of the firm's Israel operations. Earlier, he held institutional Sales and Managerial positions with Montgomery Securities, Sanford Bernstein & Co., and Wertheim & Co. Mr. Gardner holds a Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University.

Mr. Larry Goldsmith has been a Managing Director of Real Estate Group Arlington at FBR & Co. (alternate name, FBR Capital Markets Corporation) since February 28, 2009. Mr. Goldsmith serves as Managing Director at Arlington Asset Investment Corp. He served as Managing Director at Banc of America Securities LLC, within its Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking group. Mr. Goldsmith career spent time at Credit Suisse First Boston and Montgomery Securities. He was previously an associate with Montgomery Securities, which later became part of Banc of America Securities, and he began his career at Credit Suisse AG (alternate name, Credit Suisse First Boston) as an investment banking analyst in its Mergers & Acquisitions group. Mr. Goldsmith joined FBR Capital Markets following nearly 10 years at Banc of America Securities. Mr. Goldsmith received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Joseph R. Nardini serves as a senior Managing Director of Diversified Industrials Investment Banking Group at Arlington Asset Investment Corp. ( a/k/a Friedman Billings Ramsey Group Inc. (FBR)). Mr. Nardini focuses on companies in the Aerospace and Defense and Engineering and Construction industries. Mr. Nardini also serves as the Senior Managing Director and Group Head of Diversified Industrials of Investment Banking Group at FBR Capital Markets Corporation. Prior to joining FBR, Mr. Nardini served for U.S. Generating Company. His additional experience includes structuring equity investments and leveraged buyouts for Washington National Investment Corporation and as a Lending Officer for The Riggs National Bank of Washington. Mr. Nardini studied M.B.A. from the American University in 1985 and a BSBA from Duquesne University in 1982.
