Mr. Gregory John McCunn, also known as Greg, BASc, MBA, P.Eng, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Alio Gold Inc.(alternate name, Timmins Gold Corp..) since February 01, 2017. Mr. McCunn has been an Advisor of Asanko Gold Inc. since January 11, 2017. Mr. McCunn is a mining executive with 25 years of executive and management experience in finance, operations, project engineering, project construction and corporate development. Mr. McCunn served as the Chief Financial Officer of Asanko Gold Inc. (also known as Keegan Resources Inc) from April 4, 2011 to January 11, 2017 and as its Company Secretary from September 25, 2012 to January 11, 2017. Mr. McCunn served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Stratton Resources Inc., from August 12, 2011 to June 27, 2013. His background includes technical, operational, corporate development and financial roles at Teck, Placer Dome and several junior mining companies in Canada and Australia. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Nyrstar Mining Ltd. (alternate name, Farallon Mining Ltd.) from June 29, 2008 to January 5, 2011. He served as Vice President of Project Development at Zincore Metals Inc. from July 10, 2007 to June 2008. Mr. McCunn served as the Senior Project Engineer at Hunter Dickinson. He served at Teck Cominco, Placer Dome and was responsible for project development, engineering and corporate development services. He has been a Director of Alio Gold Inc.(alternate name, Timmins Gold Corp..) since February 01, 2017. He served as a Director of Auryn Resources Inc. (alternate name, Georgetown Capital Corp.) from September 7, 2012 to May 7, 2013. He served as an Independent Director of Stratton Resources Inc. from May 20, 2011 to June 27, 2013. He is a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. Mr. McCunn holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Metals and Materials Engineering (Metallurgical Engineering) from the University of British Columbia, as well as an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Simon Fraser University.
