Mr. David G. Hanna has been the Chief Executive Officer of Atlanticus Holdings Corporation (formerly CompuCredit Holdings Corp.) since 1996 and has been its Chairman since April 1999. Mr. Hanna founded Atlanticus in 1997. Mr. Hanna has been in the credit industry for over 19 years. He has served as President of Hanna Capital, LLC from 2006. He served as the President of HBR Capital, Ltd., since 1992. Prior to forming Purpose Financial Holdings, he co-founded Account Portfolios and served as its President since 1989. He served as the President of the Government Division of Nationwide Credit from 1988 to 1992, where Mr. Hanna managed and directed division operations, planning, strategy and sales, including collection performance, adherence to contractual requirements and government marketing. Prior to Nationwide Credit, he served as a Commercial Loan Officer at Citizens & Southern National Bank. Mr. Hanna has been a pioneer in the specialty finance business. He has been a Director of Atlanticus Holdings Corporation since 1999. He serves as a Director of Purpose Financial Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of CompuCredit Holdings Corp. He serves as a Director of Mozido, LLC. He serves as Director of Lumen Institute. He served as a Director of HBR Capital, Ltd. since 1992. He served as a Director of A M Miller & Associates Inc. since September 21, 1995. He is a founding member of the board of directors of two private Catholic Schools in Atlanta, Georgia. He serves on the boards of the following institutions: Holy Spirit Preparatory School in Atlanta, the Solidarity Foundation in Atlanta, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, the foundation for Children's Healthcare in Atlanta, Catholic Charities of Atlanta and Piedmont Hospital. He has a particular interest in childhood cancers as his oldest son went through treatment for lymphoblastic lymphoma for 18 months (with his cancer ultimately going into remission). Mr. Hanna holds a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Georgia.
