Overall quite good -- I can work from home when I need to, come in late or leave early to take care of my family, etc. I feel respected as a person. Folks do push hard in crunch times, which is healthy and all software companies should have them (I've worked in "no urgency/leisure lifestyle companies", and that feels as crappy as being overworked). Overall, though, this is the most balanced company I've worked at in my 20 years in tech.
Work-life balance is very important to Atlassian's values. Everyone works really hard, but I've experienced that people really respect your work hours vs. life hours (since we work with teammates all around the world) and vacation time. You have to set boundaries and be responsible for your own work-life balance, but your team and manager will support you in that.
Great
