The general criticism that unlimited vacation policies mean that employees don't take enough vacation does NOT apply to Atlassian – people take time off, and work-life balance is part of Atlassian's core values. I have never felt pressured to not take time off when I need it.
Excellent. It's untracked so you have to be disciplined about actually taking it, but there is no set limit. Just take it when you want it but be reasonable. Most people take 3-4 weeks per year.
Awesome. I'm a huge fan of the "unlimited vacation days + within reason + encouraging folks culturally to actually take time off" way of handling PTO. Makes a huge difference in my quality of life.
