Mr. Ronald E. Klingle, also known as Ron, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Avalon Holdings Corp. since February 16, 2011. Mr. Klingle has over 30 years of environmental experience. He served the Chief Executive Officer at Avalon Holdings Corp. from March 15, 2004 to February 28, 2010 and from June 1998 to December 2002 and also served as its Chief Administrative Officer. He founded American Waste Services Inc. (AWS) and served as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of AWS since December 1988 to June 1998. He has been the Chairman of Avalon Holdings Corp. since June 1998. He served as a Director of AWS since December 1988 to June 1998. Mr. Klingle holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Youngstown State University.

Mr. Bryan P. Saksa has been Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Avalon Holdings Corp. since December 1, 2014. Mr. Saksa previously held financial accounting and reporting positions at Myers Industries, Inc., and TransDigm Group, Inc. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2001 and previously worked for Grant Thornton LLP, a national public accounting firm. Mr. Saksa received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Cleveland State University.

Ms. Frances R. Klingle has been the Chief Administrative Officer at Avalon Holdings Corp. since June 1998. Ms. Klingle served as Controller of Avalon from June 1998 to April 2002 and American Waste Services Inc. (and predecessor companies) since June 1986. She served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Controller of American Waste Services Inc. since July 1991. Ms. Klingle received a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Kent State University and has completed postgraduate work in accounting at Youngstown State University.

Mr. Kenneth J. McMahon has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of American Waste Management Services Inc., a subsidiary of Avalon Holdings Corp. since June 1998. Mr. McMahon served as an Executive Vice President of Sales at American Waste Services Inc. (AWS) since September 1996. He served as a Vice President of Corporate Sales at American Waste Services Inc. from March 1992 to September 1996 and has approximately 21 years of experience in sales and marketing. Prior to joining AWS, he served as Director of Sales an IBM agent firm, Harker Consulting Services. He served as a Director of American Waste Services Inc. (AWS) since September 1996. Mr. McMahon received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and his Master of Business Administration degree from Youngstown State University.
