It is a way lower rate than many other corporations that deal with defense contracts as well as many other Fortune 500 companies. The "cost of living" raises received on a yearly basis is based on a buddy system and not well managed by higher managers for fairness through employee evaluations. Bae, in the US, is divided into 4 sections of pay from east to west cost and that depends on the cost of living for the area; but the 4th is the lowest paid and most of the employees in operations struggle to pay bills because of the low pay. I would suggest another company before coming here unless BAE is your only option.
