  • Unions negotiate their own plans, if it is not desirable, talk to the union leadership. For non-union, the plan is equitable, the schedule aligns with industry. As a non-union employee, my pay and benefits are great and the vacation and holiday schedules are a bonus, why do we need the union?

  • Terrible. No vacation for starting union employees, but non union gets 3 weeks. Makes it hard to balance life, family and work. HR says it would cost money, but offering vacation would bring a better pool of good talent into BAE when hiring.

  • Pretty good, especially if you can makeup time and not have to use your vacation days.

In NJ and NH it's business casual. Nice Jeans and shirts/sweaters are ok. Some wear dockers and dressier shirts. In general the higher up your rank is the better you are expected to dress. Very few wear suits and they are usually upper management.
