    you'll start with 2 weeks of vacation and about 80 hours of Holiday about 1/2 of which will be fixed to certain days like 7/4 and 12/25. After a number of years you'll get a third week.

    Better healthcare options. As in bring back the ppo healthcare.

  • Get rid of high-deductible health plans. Raises don't keep up with the cost of living...fix that. Offer relocation packages that include home-buying assistance; the current real estate market is outrageous.

    The moral at Lockheed is never high. There are some high spirited people but it seems like most engineers find something to complain about and that complaining can be difficult to tune out.

    Yearly. 2% if you did your job, 3% if you did above average job, 4% if you well exceeded.

  • You'll receive a raise every year but more often than not, it does not keep up with the national inflation rate. A great year will be 3%-4%, an average year will be 2%-3% and if you have a poor year you'll want to get your resume brushed up. Again, pay is based on market surveys.

  • Every 3-7 years you'll need to look for a new position internally and if you're any good, this will be easy. If you received a poor rating during the last rating period you'll want to be well networked with people at other DoD contractors or you'll risk losing your clearance.

  • Pretty good, it was better with unlimited pto, and flex time... now you only have 40 hours PTO and flex time. Every other Friday free is good but make your work days long.... I think itis fairly good

  • For the most part, the balance can be what you want but it does depend on the specific job. (Can't work classified programs remotely, can't get a lot of time off during critical operations). I definitely average 55hrs/week but I know plenty of people that don't and still consider themselves successful.

You'll receive all the medical attention you need as well as some carefully put together words of encouragement. Due to the general lack of ability to work from home, you'll feel like you're back in high school working an hourly job at the Mall, punching your timecard on a daily basis or eventually facing some serious consequences. Time card fraud is the "cover-all" infraction that accounts for almost all involuntary terminations.
