Better pay and benefits, better staffing and incentives to pick up shifts and help coworkers. Continuing education incentives, travel couchers for conferences etc.
Best thing about Benefis is most of its employees but not the management. Theyve had consulting firms tell them they have too many managers and not enough workers but they dont care.
They love touting their hard hats at new construction/build sites with a shovel in hand, they love seeing their faces in brochures but couldn't care less about their employees actually dealing with patients.
Look at other RN wages across states with RN unionization, Benefis pales in comparison. At other hospitals a RN can get double time for extra shifts, Benefis offers a $15 hr extra incentive but the hell is not worth it at Benefis.
