Ms. Debra A. Crew has been Chief Executive Officer and President of Reynolds American Inc. since January 1, 2017. Ms. Crew has been a Member of Management Board at British American Tobacco p.l.c. since July 27, 2017. She served as Chief Operating Officer of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. (formerly Brown & williamson U.S.A., Inc.) from October 1, 2015 to October 23, 2016 and served as its President from October 1, 2014 to October 23, 2016 and Chief Commercial Officer from October 1, 2014 to October 2015. She also served as the President of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company from October 1, 2014 to October 23, 2016. Ms. Crew served as Chief Commercial Officer of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and served as its Chief Operating Officer from October 1, 2015 to October 23, 2016. She served as President of PepsiCo North America Nutrition and General Manager of PepsiCo North America Nutrition at Pepsico, Inc since 2014 and served as its President of PepsiCo Americas Beverages since 2012. She oversaw PepsiCo's Gatorade and Tropicana business in North America, its Latin America Beverages business as well as the Pepsico North America warehouse sales organization and Beverage Growth Ventures Group. She joined PepsiCo in April 2010 as President of PepsiCo's Western Europe Business, where she was responsible for commercial and innovation planning across the Pepsico Europe sector. She is one of PepsiCo's rising executive leaders. Ms. Crew has strong multi-category experience and is a seasoned global leader in international brand building, general management, product development and innovation. Prior to joining PepsiCo, she was General Manager of grocery brands and U.S. pet-care products for Mars, Incorporated. She served for Mars, Inc. as Chief Marketing Officer. Ms. Crew also spent a number of years in leadership and brand management roles at Kraft Foods, where her experience included foodservice, snacks and desserts. She also served in senior roles at Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream (a division on Nestle S.A.). She has been a Director of Reynolds American Inc. since January 1, 2017. She has been an Independent Director of Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. since December 6, 2013. She served in the U.S. Army from 1993 to 1997, rising to the rank of captain and military intelligence officer. Ms. Crew has an MBA from the University of Chicago and BA from the University of Denver.
