Ms. Deborah Borg serves as Chief HR and Communications Officer at Bunge Limited and has been its Executive Vice President since January 15, 2017. Ms. Borg served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bunge Limited since January 1, 2016. She served as the President of Dow USA at The Dow Chemical Company from December 15, 2014 to December 31, 2015. She was responsible for coordinating Dow's activities across the United States. She develops and oversees a strategy for Dow USA, coordinating closely with the businesses, functions and operations to drive results. She plays an instrumental role in representing Dow's interests to key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, joint venture partners, key government organizations and communities. She serves as a company spokesperson and manages issues that affect U.S. government policy, public policy and Dow's businesses. She manages many of the U.S. issues that in recent years have been predominantly left to corporate officers with global responsibilities including the Office of the Chief Executive. She has been a key partner with Dow businesses and played an invaluable role in the development and implementation of the corporate strategy. Ms. Borg served as Vice President of the Human Resource Partner Organization. Ms. Borg joined Dow in 2000 as the Human Resource Manager of Australia/New Zealand. Over 14 years, she held a variety of roles in Asia, Europe and North America which spanned the HR function and worked in close partnership with Dow's businesses and executive team. She provided HR leadership and counsel to a variety of Dow business portfolios and led the design and implementation of programs that support talent attraction, compensation, retention, deployment and development. Ms. Borg served as Vice President of Human Resources at Dow since 2010. Ms. Borg served as Global HR Director of Marketing and Sales of Dow Corporation since January 2008. Ms. Borg began her career with General Motors Australia, where she served HR and talent development positions for six years. She served generalist roles in the engine operations facility. She served as an Organisational Effectiveness Consultant and responsible for establishing General Motors University in the Pacific region and setting up assessment and development centres for recruitment and high potential development. She serves as a Member of the Advisory board-HR at World Trade Group Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Administration in Business Management and a Masters in Training and Change Management from Victoria University, Australia.
