Dr. Dunson K. Cheng, Ph.D., served as Chief Executive Officer of Cathay General Bancorp and Cathay Bank from 1994 to September 30, 2016, President of Cathay General Bancorp from 1990 to September 30, 2016 and Cathy Bank from 1990 to September 30, 2016. Dr. Cheng served as the President of Cathay Real Estate Investment Trust of Cathay General Bancorp., from February, 2003 to September 30, 2016. Dr. Cheng has been the Executive Chairman of Cathay General Bancorp since 1994 and also has been the Executive Chairman of Cathay Bank since 1994. Dr. Cheng served as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Cathay Bank Foundation from 2002 to March 2005. He served as the Chairman of Cathay Investment Company of Cathay General BanCorp., from 1994 to 2007, Chief Executive Officer from 1995 to 2007 and President from 1999 to 2007. Dr. Cheng served as the President and Chairman of Cathay Securities Fund Inc., from July 2000 to January 2003. Dr. Cheng worked for Xerox before joining Cathay Bank. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Securities Fund Inc. since July, 2000. He served as the Chairman of Cathy Securities Fund Inc. from July 2000 to January 2003. He has been a Director of Cathay General Bancorp since 1990 and Cathay Bank since 1982. He has been a Director at Dicon Fiberoptics Inc. since February 2002. He has been a Trustee of Cathay Real Estate Investment Trust since February, 2003. He serves as a Trustee of Southern California Public Radio. He served as a Director of Cathay Investment Company from 1984 to 2007. Dr. Cheng holds B.S. in Applied Math and Physics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wisconsin and Ph.D. in Physics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and did Post-Doctorate research at the University of Oregon.

Mr. Donald Sang Chow has over 30 years of experience in commercial lending. Mr. Chow served as an Executive Vice President of East West Bancorp, Inc. He was also employed for over 14 years at Security Pacific National Bank where he held a number of positions, including Vice President and unit leader of commercial real estate lending. Mr. Chow served as President of Desert Community Bank - East West Bank a subsidiary of East West Bancorp Inc. He served as Executive Vice President and Director of Commercial Lending of East West Bank. He joined East West Bank in April 1993 as First Vice President and Commercial Lending Manager. He served as Senior Vice President of East West Bank since April 1994. He served as First Vice President and Senior Credit Officer for Mitsui Manufacturers Bank from 1987 to 1993.

Mr. Heng W. Chen has been the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Cathay General BanCorp since June 23, 2003 and also serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Chen has been Chief Financial Officer of Cathay Bank since January 1, 2004 and its Executive Vice President since June 23, 2003.He has been a Director, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GBC Venture Capital, Inc. since 2003. He had been Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cathay Real Estate Investment Trust since December 2003 until 2013. He is a highly effective financial executive who has extensive experience in all aspects of financial management and treasury functions in a larger financial institution. Mr. Chen served as an Executive Vice President, Finance of City National Bank, a subsidiary of City National Corporation since March 2000, where he served in various other capacities from 1984 to 2003. He has also served in various capacities at City National Corporation, the holding company of City National Bank, from 1984 to 2003 including the positions of Assistant Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Treasurer since June 1998. Mr. Chen served as Senior Vice President, Finance of City National Corporation from June 1998 to March 2000, as Senior Vice President of Finance and Controller of City National Bank from 1995 to 1998. He served as Executive Vice President of Finance of City National Corporation since March 2000 and served as its Controller from 1996 to 1998. He served as a Senior Manager of Price Waterhouse, where he was responsible for supervising, planning and staffing audits of public and private companies in the financial services, manufacturing and utilities industries. Mr. Chen earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He earned his Master's in Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Mr. Irwin Wong has been the Chief Operating Officer of Cathay Bank since April 1, 2015. Mr. Wong has been the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Cathay Bank Foundation since May 2004 and its Vice President since 2002. Mr. Wong served as Chief Retail Administration & Regulatory Affairs Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Cathay Bank from January 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015. Mr. Wong served as the Chief Risk Officer and Executive Vice President of Cathay Bank, a subsidiary of Cathay General BanCorp since February 2011. Mr. Wong served as an Executive Vice President for Branch Administration of Cathay Bank, a subsidiary of Cathay General BanCorp. from 1998 to February 2011 and also served as a Treasurer of Cathay Real Estate Investment Trust from February 2003 to December 2003. He has been a Director of Cathay Bank Foundation since 2002. He serves as Director of Valley Economic Development Center, Inc.

Mark Lee serves as the Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer of Cathay Bank. Mark started at Cathay Bank in December of 2017. Mark currently resides in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
