Mr. Stephen E. Pirnat, also known as Steve, has been the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of ClearSign Combustion Corp. since February 2015 and served as its President since February 3, 2015. Mr. Pirnat serves as the Managing Director of Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the Quest Integrity Group of Team Inc. He has been the President of Quest Integrated Inc. since September 2009. He serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed Quest Metrology Group LLC. From February 2000 to September 2009, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the John Zink Company, LLC. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pangborn Corporation from 1998 to 1999, a leading supplier of surface preparation equipment and associated services to the automotive and aircraft industries. Mr. Pirnat's technological expertise and business experience in the combustion and air pollution control industry. He began his career as an applications engineer with the Pump and Condenser Group of Ingersoll-Rand, where he advanced through a variety of sales, marketing, engineering and operational positions with that company and its successor, Ingersoll-Dresser. These positions included Vice President of Ingersoll-Rand's Standard Products Division, Vice President of Marketing for Ingersoll-Dresser Pumps, President of Ingersoll-Dresser Pumps Canada Ltd., and Vice President and General Manager of Ingersoll-Rand Engineered Equipment Division. From 1988 to 1998, he served in various sales, marketing, operational, engineering and executive positions at Ingersoll-Rand and Ingersoll-Dresser Corporation. He has been an Independent Director of AZZ incorporated since July 8, 2014. He has been a Director of Clearsign Combustion Corp since November, 2011. He served as a Director of Profire Energy, Inc. from January 16, 2014 to September 15, 2016. He was a Board member of Quest Integrity Group. Mr. Pirnat holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Dr. Roberto Ruiz has been the Chief Operating Officer at Clearsign Combustion Corp. since February 9, 2016. Dr. Ruiz served as Senior Vice President of Product Development of Clearsign Combustion Corp. from November 15, 2012 to February 9, 2016. Dr. Ruiz served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Onquest, Inc. at Primoris Services Corporation since January 1, 2011. Dr. Ruiz joined OnQuest in November 2010. He served as Vice President of Process Burners Group at John Zink Company LLC since May 2008. He was responsible for the John Zink's original product line. He has worked in process design, environmental controls, fuels, gas separation, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and advanced diagnostics. Prior to joining John Zink Company in 1997, Dr. Ruiz worked with the Gas Research Institute and later with Air Liquide, where he was commercial and marketing manager in the gas separation business. He is a proven leader with twenty-five years of experience in industrial technology. He served as Vice President of Technology and Commercial Development at Zink where he was responsible for all R&D as well as the management of the company's intellectual property portfolio. He served as a Director of Arvest Bank. He earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Ruiz earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Mr. Joseph Colannino, also known as Joe, has been Senior Vice President of Engineering at Clearsign Combustion Corp. since August 23, 2016. Mr. Colannino served as the Chief Technology Officer of ClearSign Combustion Corporation from May 2011 to August 23, 2016. Prior to ClearSign, from December 2006 to February 2011, Mr. Colannino served as Director of Research and Development at John Zink Company, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch Industries and a worldwide leader in the supply of combustion and air pollution control equipment to the energy industry. During that time his responsibilities were expanded to lead global R&D efforts. As head of global R&D, his responsibilities included management of intellectual property, oversight of John Zink's testing facility and of the John Zink Institute, which trains more than 1,000 students per year in various aspects of combustion. From November, 2005 to November 2006, Mr. Colannino headed knowledge management efforts at John Zink. He has more than 25 years in the combustion industry and has authored or contributed to several books including Industrial Combustion Testing, The Air Pollution Control Guide, The John Zink Combustion Handbook and Modeling of Combustion Systems A Practical Approach. He is a registered professional engineer and has written and reviewed problems appearing on the NCEES professional engineering exam, given in all 50 states for professional engineering licensure. His areas of expertise include R&D management, combustion, pollutant formation and control and statistical experimental design. He holds memberships in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Chemical Society, the Air and Waste Management Association, the American Statistical Association and the National Association of Professional Engineers. Mr. Colannino received a BSc. from the California Polytechnic University in Pomona and a Masters in Knowledge Management from the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Donald W. Kendrick, Ph.D. has been Chief Technology Officer at Clearsign Combustion Corp. since August 23, 2016. Dr. Kendrick served as Senior Vice President of Technology at Clearsign Combustion Corp. from May 26, 2015 to August 23, 2016. Prior to joining ClearSign, Dr. Kendrick served as Chief Technology Officer of Lean Flame Inc., a company that commercializes disruptive, ultra-low emissions combustion systems for gas turbine applications. Previously, he was Operations Manager for United Technologies Corporation's Pratt & Whitney PulseDyne Division, where he worked to develop, commercialize and sell the SHOCKSystem??? Online Detonation Cleaning System. He has also served as the Aerothermal Department Head of Ramgen Power Systems, where he developed the first ever Trapped Vortex Combustor (TVC) for land-based gas turbine applications. He served as a Director of Lean Flame Inc. He has authored more than 40 publications and papers in the fields of thermal sciences, fluid dynamics and combustion and holds 12 patents. Dr. Kendrick has a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and both an MSc. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.

Mr. James N. Harmon, also known as Jim, has been Consultant of Clearsign Combustion Corporation since May 11, 2017. Mr. Harmon served as the Chief Financial Officer of Clearsign Combustion Corporation since June 2011 until May 11, 2017 and served as its secretary since November 2011 until May 11, 2017 and served as its Treasurer since August 2015 until May 11, 2017. Mr. Harmon served as the Interim President of Clearsign Combustion Corp. from December 11, 2014 to February 3, 2015. Prior to joining ClearSign, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Sahale Snacks Inc., a highly-differentiated premium snack manufacturer located in Seattle, from September 2010. He served as Senior Vice President of Investments from September 2003 to November 2008, Chief Financial Officer from January 1992 to August 2003 and Treasurer and Secretary from January 1992 to November 2008 at Sabey Corporation. From November 2008 to September 2010, Mr. Harmon was a financial and real estate consultant for various businesses, including Sahale Snacks. He assisted Sabey Corporation in the initial public offering of one of its affiliates, Sun Sportswear, Inc. Previously, he was a certified public accountant with Price Waterhouse from 1982 to 1989 where he became an Audit Manager specializing in the manufacturing and retail industries, including SEC registrants filing under the 1933 and 1934 Acts. Mr. Harmon received a B.A. in Business Administration/Accounting from Washington State University.

Mr. Stephen M. Sock, also known as Steve, has been Senior Vice President of Business Development at ClearSign Combustion Corporation since July 17, 2017. Mr. Sock joined ClearSign from Burrow Global, where he served as Business Development Manager. Prior to Burrow Global, he had a successful twenty-five year career with Amec Foster Wheeler and their successor companies in the global engineering and construction industry in positions of increasing responsibility including Director of Technology Business Development, Global Key Account Executive and Vice President of Commercial. He joined Foster Wheeler as a Process Engineer directly from Lehigh University, where he studied chemical engineering.

Mr. Brian G. Fike has been Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of ClearSign Combustion Corporation since May 11, 2017 and serves as its Controller. Mr. Fike joined ClearSign Combustion Corporation in January 2016 after a 15 year career at Darigold, Inc., where he transitioned from Plant Controller to Accounting and Finance Manager to Strategy Manager and to Regional Controller. Prior to his career at Darigold, Mr. Fike held similar positions in the specialty foods and industrial automation industries and served eight years in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Mr. Fike holds a BBA in Accountancy from Boise State University and an MBA from the University of Washington.
