Mr. Eric Grinstead has been Chief Commercial Officer of Clementia Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since January 29, 2014. Mr. Grinstead served as Senior Vice President of US Commercial Operations at Synageva BioPharma Corp. He joined Clementia from Medical Marketing Economics (MME), the premier value and pricing firm within the biopharmaceutical industry, where he was involved in the development and implementation of value-based pricing and reimbursement strategies for several companies. He served as the Senior Vice President of Commercial and Business Operations at Synageva BioPharma Corp. since July 2009. Mr. Grinstead served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Operations at Synageva BioPharma Corp., where he was responsible for corporate and business operations. Mr. Grinstead served as Senior Vice President of Government and Business Affairs of Synageva BioPharma Corp. since October 20, 2009. Mr. Grinstead served as Vice President of United States Access Services and Commercial Operations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since September 2007. His responsibilities included strategic and operational responsibility for the pricing, policy, health economics, distribution, national accounts, payor and channel segments, case management services and other access programs and functions in the United States. He served as an Executive Director of US Access Services at Alexion from September 2006 to September 2007. Mr. Grinstead served as Senior Director of Patient and Product Services at Genzyme Corporation, where he led Genzyme's distribution, collections, case management, customer service and national accounts efforts for Genzyme's LSD Division from January 2005 to September 2006. From July 1998 to January 2005, Mr. Grinstead held a number of commercial positions for Amgen including State Reimbursement and Strategic Alliances Manager and Marketing and Value-Access Associate Director for the Inflammatory and Renal Business Units. He worked at GlaxoSmithKline as a Salesman, Sales Manager and State Lobbyist until when he joined Amgen in 1998. He has over 20 years of experience in commercial strategy, operations, government affairs and reimbursement at companies such as Genzyme and Amgen. Mr. Grinstead served as President of the Safety Net Foundation and the Complement Foundation, two not-for-profit entities that provided drugs at no cost to qualified individuals. Mr. Grinstead holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Westmont University in Santa Barbara, CA.
