Mr. Eric S. Eissenstat has been General Counsel and Secretary of Continental Resources, Inc., since August 2011 and its Senior Vice President since December 2010 and Chief Risk Officer since May 2014. Mr. Eissenstat joined Continental with 27 years of experience in complex business and commercial matters involving oil and gas, antitrust, business torts, computer law, shareholder suits, class actions, insurance, trade regulation, contract, corporate disputes, employment-related disputes, intellectual property and commercial arbitration. He served as Chief Legal Officer of Continental Resources, Inc. since December 2010. He serves as a Director of United Way of Central Oklahoma. He served as Director of the Fellers, Snider, Blankenship, Bailey & Tippens, P.C. in Oklahoma City. He is an active member of the American Bar Association and has held leadership positions in the Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma County Bar Association. He is frequent speaker and author on the topics of antitrust litigation, business torts, computer law, punitive damages and electronic discovery, his work has been widely recognized. He is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a recipient of the Oklahoma County Bar Association Leadership in the Law Award and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation, Insurance and Antitrust Law. He is also listed in Chambers USA Leading Lawyers for Business and has been voted one of the Top 10 lawyers in Oklahoma by Super Lawyers magazine. Mr. Eissenstat earned his Bachelor of Science with honors in Political Science from Oklahoma State University and his Juris Doctorate with honors and Order of the Coif from the University of Oklahoma.
