Mr. Douglas J. McCrosson, also known as Doug, has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of CPI Aerostructures Inc. since March 6, 2014. Mr. McCrosson has 30 years of aerospace experience, having started his career as a mechanical engineer at Grumman Corporation, now Northrop Grumman. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of CPI Aerostructures Inc. from January 1, 2010 to March 2014. He served as Senior Vice President of Operations at CPI Aerostructures Inc., from December 2008 to December 2009. Mr. McCrosson served as Vice President of Operations at CPI Aerostructures Inc. from February 2007 to December 2008. Mr. McCrosson has been with CPI Aero since May 2003 and served its Director of Business Development from May 2003 to January 2006 and Vice President of Business Development from February 2006 to January 2007. Mr. McCrosson served as Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Secretary of Frisby Technologies Inc. from 1997 to May 2003. Mr. McCrosson served as the Vice President of Technical Operations at Frisby Technologies Inc. since 1997. He served as Group Director responsible for all of Frisby Technologies Inc.'s thermal product development programs from 1992 to 1997. He was employed by Frisby Aerospace, Inc. in various engineering and marketing positions from 1988 to 1997. He serves on the Board of Managers of Schoeller Frisby Technologies GmbH and he is on the Board of Directors of LIFT, a not-for-profit organization engaged in providing technology-based companies with engineering and business development services. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Aerospace Industries Association, a trade association representing major aerospace and defense manufacturers and suppliers in the United States. Mr. McCrosson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Masters of Science degree in Management from Polytechnic University.
