Dr. Gerald R. Cysewski, Ph.D. co-founded Cyanotech Corp. in 1983 and has been its Chief Executive Officer since August 25, 2016. Dr. Cysewski served as President of Cyanotech Corporation from August 25, 2016 to July 14, 2017. He served as an Executive Vice President of Cyanotech Corp. until March 31, 2016 and served as Chief Scientific Officer until May 2, 2016. Dr. Cysewski served as Executive Chairman of Cyanotech Corp. from October 1990 to May 16, 2008 and as its Chief Executive Officer and President from March 1990 to May 16, 2008. He served as Group Leader of Microalgae Research and Development of Battelle Northwest, a major contract research and development firm from 1980 to 1982. From 1976 to 1980, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Nuclear Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received a two-year grant from the National Science Foundation to develop a culture system for blue-green algae. From 1988 to November 1990, he served as Vice Chairman of Cyanotech Corp. He has been an Executive Director of Cyanotech Corp. since 1983. Dr. Cysewski received his doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Mr. Mawae Morton has been President at Cyanotech Corporation since July 14, 2017. Mr. Morton has been a strategic consultant at Cyanotech Corporation since January 1, 2017. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of HBE BiorefineryCo, a Hawaii based forestry and bioenergy development company. He served as President at Matariki Group LLC, which provides consulting services for project development with a focus on renewable energy, forestry, agribusiness and environmental planning. Mr. Morton has also served as the Strategic Resource Manager for Kamehameha Schools, the largest land owner in Hawaii and Managing Director at Merica International, a privately owned group of companies with global interests in the renewable energy sector. Mr. Morton holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor's degree in agriculture from Massy University, in New Zealand.

Mr. Glenn D. Jensen has been Vice President of Manufacturing & Infrastructure at Cyanotech Corporation & served as its Vice President of Operations at Cyanotech Corporation since May 1993. Mr. Jensen joined Cyanotech Corp. in 1984 as Process Manager and was promoted to Production Manager in 1991, in which position he served until his promotion to Vice President???Operations. Prior to joining Cyanotech, Mr. Jensen worked for three years as a plant engineer at a Spirulina production facility, Cal-Alga, near Fresno, California. Mr. Jensen holds a B.S. degree in Health Science from California State University, Fresno.

Mr. Gerard J. Watts, also known as Gerry, has been the Chief Operations Officer of Cyanotech Corp. since August 18, 2014. Mr. Watts served as Vice President and General Manager of Haliimaile Pineapple Co. Ltd. He has more than 30 years' experience as a senior operations executive in the Food and Agribusiness industry. He served as Principal Consultant, International Agribusiness for ProducePro Consultancy, where he advised and guided domestic and international firms with regard to fundamental and strategic issues associated with the global produce business. Prior to 2013, he was Chief Operating Officer / General Manager at North Shore Greenhouses, a $10 million fresh grower and shipper of full line living herbs produced in hydroponic greenhouses. While there, he was responsible for all functional business areas, including sales, marketing, production planning, quality control and food safety. He served as President of SunOpta Fruit Group at SunOpta Inc. from May 15, 2008 to 2011. He served as Vice President of Operations and Processing of Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc. from May 2, 2005 to September 2006 and served as its General Manager from 2005 to 2008. He served as General Manager of Maui Pineapple Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc. since March 13, 2007 and served as its Vice President since May 2, 2005. He has an extensive experience in the agricultural industry, particularly in the avocado business. In his various management and executive positions, he has overseen field and production operations, grower relations and business strategy development and implementation. Mr. Watts served as Vice President of Southern Operations at Coastal Berry Company, LLC. Mr. Watts served as Vice President of North American Operations of Calavo Growers Inc. from 1992 to October 2003 and served as its Vice President & General Manager Calavo de Mexico International. Mr. Watts joined Calavo Growers in 1981 at its Processed Products Division. He served as Packinghouse Manager of Calavo Growers since 1984 and assumed responsibility for the design and construction of all phases of Calavo Growers Inc.'s Temecula, California packinghouse. Since 1990, he served as Director of Fresh Operations of Calavo Growers Inc.'s field and packing operations. In 1998, Mr. Watts assumed responsibility for the design and construction of Calavo Growers Inc.'s state of the art packing facility in Uruapan, Mexico and implemented processes for supporting the procuring, packing and shipping of Mexican grown avocados to any global location. Mr. Watts has also served on the California Avocado Commission Industry Affairs Committee and as Chairman and Member of the California Avocado Inspection Board.

Ms. Jole Eileen Deal has been Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance & Administration of Cyanotech Corp. since August 16, 2011. Ms. Deal has been Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of Cyanotech Corp. since August 17, 2011. Ms. Deal served as the Chief Financial Officer of Puretek Corporation since 2009. Previously, she was Divisional Vice President and Controller of Pharmavite LLC, manufacturer/marketer of Nature Made vitamins and dietary supplements ($500 million per annum), based in Northridge, California (a U.S. subsidiary of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Tokyo), for four years, before which she held Pharmavite positions as Director, Sales and Marketing Finance for four years; Director, Financial Planning and Analysis / Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis for eight years; and Manager, Intercompany Projects for three years. Previously, Ms. Deal was Audit Senior at Touche Ross / Deloitte & Touche.
