Mr. Lior Samuelson has been the Chairman of CYREN Ltd. (known as Commtouch Software Ltd.) since December, 2011 and has been its Chief Executive Officer since November 19, 2013. Mr. Samuelson co-founded Mercator Capital LLC in October 1999 and is also a Partner of it and its affiliates since formation. His experience includes advising clients in the Technology, Communications and Consumer sectors on mergers, acquisitions and private placements. During his extensive career, Mr. Samuelson served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of several companies in technology, telecom, financial services and management consulting. He was a Managing Partner of Mercator Broadband Partners, L.P. I. He served as an Executive Vice President of Global Telecom & Technology, Inc. (Formerly, Mercator Partners Acquisition Corp.) since its inception on January 03, 2005. He was Managing Partner of Mercator Broadband Partners. He served as a Senior Adviser of Israel Growth Partners Acquisition Corp. since August 2005. Prior to founding Mercator Management, Mr. Samuelson served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities from 1997 to 1999. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Samuelson served as Chief Executive Officer of the Barents Group. Since August 1999, he served as a Co-Founder and Principal of Mercator Capital. In 1985, Mr. Samuelson joined PEG Group, a company that specialized in developing simulation software and services, which was sold to KPMG in 1986. He became a partner of KPMG in 1986 and served as a partner of KPMG until 1994. He also served as a managing partner with KPMG and a senior consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, an international management consultancy. From 1980 to 1985, Mr. Samuelson served in a senior management position with Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He serves as Chairman of Commtouch, Inc. He has been a Director of Commtouch Software Ltd. since August 2010. He served as Chairman of deltathree, Inc. from January 2008 to February 1, 2009. He served as the Co-Chairman of Peloton Holdings. He has been a Director of DeltaThree, Inc. since August 2001. He has been a Director of Civcom since April 2001. He served as a Director at Global Telecom & Technology, Inc. since January 3, 2005. Mr. Samuelson holds a BS and an MS degrees in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
