Care more about employees and less about maximizing profit. Spend a little money on employee training and development. Listen to feedback from employees.

Can be difficult. Management is very demanding. There is often pressure to work overtime to meet deadlines.

The corporate culture that pressures employees to be available at all times including weekends, holidays, and vacations.

Modern open office looks nice fosters collaboration. It can be very noisy and there is a lack of privacy with lots of visual diatractions. I don't like it but some people do. Good camaraderie among co-workers. Excellent variety of free coffee and water.

Expansion through acquisitions. Customer service suffers do to almost constant expansion consequently the customer churn rate is higher than it should be.

Demanding. Focused on growth and shareholder value at the expense of customer service and employees.
How's the work life balance at DS Services of America?
Depends on manager. Some expect you to be available 24/7/365. You need to have the courage to push back if you think the demands are unreasonable. Unfortunately some departments have many Type A workaholics who always put work before family.

Partial remote not full time. Leadership spent a lot of money on new open office environment so they want to see people in the office "collaborating"
