Mr. Michael Alan Lovell, also known as Mick, CPCU, has been Executive Vice President of Operations of EMC Insurance Group Inc. (???EMC???) since January 2, 2018 and was its Executive Vice President for Corporate Development from 2015 to 2018. Mr. Lovell joined EMC in 2003 as the first Director of Product Management. He was Senior Vice President of Business Development at EMC Insurance Group Inc. since 2011. Prior to joining EMC, Mr. Lovell was in underwriting, underwriting management and home office operations for Nationwide Insurance. Mr. Lovell has the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation and received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in management information systems from Morningside College.

Mr. Scott Ronald Jean, FCAS, MAAA, is Executive Vice President of Finance and Strategy of EMC Insurance Group Inc. (???EMC???) since 2018 and was its Executive Vice President for Finance and Analytics from 2015 to 2018. Mr. Jean started with EMC in 1989 and has served in various positions during his employment, including Supervising Actuary, Vice President of Actuary and Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary, among others. Mr. Jean is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Iowa State University.

Mr. Bradley J. Fredericks, also known as Brad, M.B.A., FLMI, serves as Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice President at Employers Mutual Casualty Company. Mr. Fredericks has been the Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice President of EMC Insurance Group Inc. since 2014. He served as an Assistant Vice President at Employers Mutual Casualty Company. He served as an Assistant Vice President of Investments at EMC Insurance Group Inc. Mr. Fredericks served as an Assistant Secretary at EMC Insurance Group Inc. Mr. Fredericks has the Fellow Life Management Institute designation. He received his bachelor's of business administration degree from Iowa State University and a master's of business administration degree from The University of Iowa.

Mark E. Reese serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of EMC Insurance Group Inc. (the Company) and of Employers Mutual Casualty Company (Employers Mutual) since 2004. Mr. Reese joined the Company in 1984 and has served in various positions during his employment, including Assistant Controller Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Reporting Specialist, Accounting Manager, and Controller, among others. Mr. Reese was named Chief Financial Officer in 1997 and Senior Vice President in 2004. He currently oversees Accounting, and is in charge of banking, financial reporting, taxes, investor relations, and compliance with SEC and National Association of Insurance Commissioners rules and regulations. Mr. Reese is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.
