He served as the Managing Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co. He joined Goldman Sachs & Co. in 1983 in the Pipeline and Utilities Department within the Investment Banking Division and remained exclusively focused on the energy and utility sectors in the Investment Banking Division throughout 2002. He served as a General Partner of the Goldman Sachs & Co. since 1996 and transferred to J. Aron Commodity Group in 2002, where he had a significant responsibility for building the power asset business. Mr. Kimmelman was involved in developing the constellation power source concept as the initial entry point for Goldman Sachs as a Principal into electricity markets. Additionally, he was involved in the formation of Orion Power Holdings, Inc. He has been a Director of USD Partners GP LLC at USD Partners LP since October 2014. He serves as a Director of US Development Group, LLC; Sunnova Energy Corp; USD Group LLC; NESCO Holdings Corp.; PLH Group, Inc.; NESCO Holdings LP; and Power Line Holdings, Inc. Prior to realization, Mr. Kimmelman served on the board of CE2 Carbon Capital, LLC. Mr. Kimmelman holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University in 1982.

Previously, he served as a Principal at Energy Capital Partners. Previously, he spent seven years at First Reserve Corporation. Mr. D'Argenio's responsibilities at First Reserve included a leadership role in power, financial services and coal related investments. Prior to joining First Reserve, Mr. D'Argenio was an Associate in the Energy and Utilities Group at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. He began his career in the structured finance group at Sempra Energy Trading. Mr. Peter L. Labbat, also known as Pete, has been a Partner of Energy Capital Partners since 2006. Mr. Labbat joined Energy Capital Partners in 2006. He spent 13 years in the Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Division from 1993 to August 2006.
