Mr. Robert S. McLean, J.D. has been Chief Administrative Officer at EnPro Industries, Inc. since January 2016 and its General Counsel and Secretary since May 2012. Mr. McLean has been an Executive Vice President at EnPro Industries, Inc. since June 12, 2017. Mr. McLean served as Vice President at EnPro Industries, Inc. since April 2010 until February 09, 2016. Prior to EnPro, he was a Partner of the Charlotte, North Carolina law firm of Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson P.A., which he joined in 1995 and where he chaired its corporate practice department. His practice covers a range of commercial transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He has represented parties in a number of acquisitions and dispoositions, including management buyouts and auction sales involving financial and strategic buyers and sellers. In such transactions, he has addressed and managed employment, employee benefit, union, environmental, tax, real estate, insurance coverage, intellectual property, product and securities matters. Mr. McLean also has advised corporations and limited liability companies in a variety of commercial and corporate matters, including organizational issues, shareholder and operating agreements, capital and debt structures, joint ventures, board matters, including special committees and executive compensation and employment arrangements, including equity plans. He worked with the Atlanta office of the law firm King & Spalding and the Charlotte office of the law firm Smith, Helms, Mullis & Moore (now part of McGuireWoods, LLP). Mr. McLean served as an Assistant General Counsel and Secretary at Worldway Corporation (formerly Carolina Freight Corporation), a public company, through its merger with Arkansas Best Corporation.
