Mr. David Lynn Wagner serves as Chairman and Principal at Evanston Alternative Opportunities Fund. and Evanston Capital Management, LLC. Mr. Wagner serves as the Principal and Chairman of Evanston Capital Management, LLC. Mr. Wagner focuses on executive management of investment and business functions and is responsible for firm level leadership and strategic direction. He had founded the Evanston in 2002. Mr. Wagner was a Financial and Systems Analyst at Insco Systems Group from 1970 to 1971. Mr. Wagner serves as the Member of Board of Trustees of Wheaton College. Previously, he had served as the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the college and had served as its Vice President for Finance and Operations from 1977 to 1983, with responsibility for the offices of the treasurer, controller, budget, data processing, office services, physical plant, construction, auxiliary enterprises, human resources and financial aid. Mr. Wagner has served as the Chief Investment Officer and Vice President of Northwestern University for ten years. He was responsible for the investment office of the university and joined Northwestern University in 1992. Mr. Wagner served as the Chief Investment Officer of C.W. Benedum Foundation and had served as a Vice President and Treasurer from 1983 to 1992, with responsibilities for investments as well as grant programs for community and economic development and higher education. He served as the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Bard College, from where Mr. Wagner started his career in educational administration in 1971, with responsibilities as vice president for administration and finance from 1974 to 1977. He was a budget and planning officer in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1970. Mr. Wagner earned an M.B.A. from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 1966 and a B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1965.
