Mr. Michael E. Hurlston is Chief Executive Officer and Director of Finisar Corp. since January 11, 2018. Mr. Hurlston served as a Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Mobile Connectivity Products/Wireless Communications and Connectivity Division at Broadcom Limited until October 20, 2017. Mr. Hurlston was responsible for Broadcom's mobility products. Previously, he held senior leadership positions in Sales, Marketing and General Management. Prior to joining Broadcom in 2001, Mr. Hurlston held senior marketing and engineering positions at Oren Semiconductor, Inc., Avasem, Integrated Circuit Systems, Micro Power Systems, Exar and IC Works. He served as an Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Broadcom Corporation from April 1, 2013 to February 1, 2016. Mr. Hurlston served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Wireless Connectivity Combo at Broadcom Corp. from April 2012 to April 1, 2013. Mr. Hurlston joined Broadcom in October 2001 as the Director of Wireless Business Development and was appointed as Vice President and General Manager, Wireless LAN in May 2005 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in April 2010. He served as Director of Sales at Oren Semiconductor, Inc. He served in senior marketing positions at Radia Communications and Oren Semiconductor for approximately four years. He has been a Director of Ubiquiti Networks, Inc. since August 04, 2016. Mr. Hurlston received a B.S.E.E., an M.S.E.E. and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Julie Sheridan Eng has been an Executive Vice President of Datacom R&D at Finisar Corp since October 2015. Dr. Eng has held various senior management positions within our engineering organization since joining Finisar in 2003. From 1995 to 2003, Dr. Eng served in various positions at&T/Lucent Technologies/Agere Systems, including Director of Product Development primarily leading Agere's transmitter, receiver and transceiver product development for telecom and datacom markets. Dr. Eng holds a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, in physics from Bryn Mawr College and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with honors from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). She earned M. S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Mr. Kurt Adzema has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Finance of Finisar Corp. since March 2010 and January 2011 serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Adzema served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Finisar Corp. since March 2010. Mr. Adzema served as Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development at Finisar Corp. from 2005 to March 2010 and Senior Vice President of Finance and led its corporate development initiatives including the merger with Optium and the divestiture of the Network Tools division. Mr. Adzema served as a Professional at SVB Alliant. He has over 12 years investment banking experience, focused exclusively on technology mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Adzema served as the Senior Technology M&A professional on the west coast for Banc of America Securities. He served as a Member of Lehman Brothers Technology Group in San Francisco. He worked in the Financial Restructuring Group for Smith Barney. He earned his Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated #1 in his class. Mr. Adzema also holds a BA Degree in Theoretical Mathematics from the University of Michigan, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Mr. Todd Swanson has been an Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Research & Development at Finisar Corp. since June 2016. Mr. Swanson served as an Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at Finisar Corp. from January 2011 to June 2016. Mr. Swanson served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Finisar Corp. since August 2008. Mr. Swanson joined Finisar in 2002 and served as Product Line Manager and Director of Marketing for its Optics Division. Mr. Swanson served as Director of Marketing for Aegis Semiconductor, a manufacturer of optical semiconductor devices, from December 2000 to June 2001. From July 1995 to August 1999, Mr. Swanson was employed by Hewlett-Packard Company as Project Leader and Project Manager in the Automotive Lighting Group of the Optoelectronics Division. Mr. Swanson holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr. Jerry S. Rawls is a Co-Founder of Finisar Corp. and its Independent Director since March 1989. Mr. Rawls was Executive Chairman of of Finisar Corp. since January 2006 and Chief Executive Officer since September 3, 2015. Mr. Rawls served as Co-Principal Executive Officer of Finisar Corp. Mr. Rawls served as the Chief Executive Officer of Finisar Corp. from 1989 to August 2008. Mr. Rawls served as President of Finisar Corp., from April 2003 to August 2008. From September 1968 to February 1989, Mr. Rawls served at Raychem Corporation, where he served various management positions including Division General Manager of the Aerospace Products Division and Interconnection Systems Division. Mr. Rawls holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and an M.S. Degree in Industrial Administration from Purdue University.

Mr. Joseph A. Young has been an Executive Vice President of Global Operations at Finisar Corp., since January 2011. Mr. Young served as Senior Vice President President of Operations & Engineering and General Manager of Optics Division at Finisar Corp., from June 2005 to August 2008. Mr. Young joined Finisar Corp., in October 2004 as Senior Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining Finisar Corp., Mr. Young served as Director of Enterprise Products, Optical Platform Division of Intel Corporation from May 2001 to October 2004. He served as Vice President of Operations of LightLogic, Inc. from September 2000 to May 2001 and as Vice President of Operations of Lexar Media, Inc. from December 1999 to September 2000. From March 1983 to December 1999, Mr. Young served at Tyco/ Raychem, in various positions, including Director of Worldwide Operations for the OEM Electronics Division of Raychem Corporation. Mr. Young holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an M.S. in Operations Research from the University of New Haven and an M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. John H. Clark has been Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Finisar Corp since October 2015. Dr. Clark served as an Executive Vice President of Technology, Research and Development at Finisar Corporation., since January 2011. Dr. Clark served as the Chief Strategy Officer of Cogo Optronics, Inc., from May 2009 to October 2009. He served as an Executive Consultant of Seagate Corporation from March 2006 to March 2008 and as Vice President of SSD Development from March 2008 to May 2009; and President and Chairman of Iolon, Inc., from November 2000 to March 2006. Dr. Clark served at Scientific-Atlanta, Inc.,as Chief Operating Officer of its wholly-owned subsidiary ATx Telecom Systems, Inc. from 1996 to 1998 and as Vice President and General Manager of the Optoelectronics Business Unit from 1996 to 2000. Dr. Clark co-founded Amoco Laser Company in 1986 and served in a series of technical and general management positions to Chief Operating Officer at the time of its sale by Amoco Corporation to Scientific-Atlanta since 1996. Dr. Clark started his career with a joint appointment as Senior Staff Scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of California (UC) Berkeley. He served as Executive Chairman of Cogo Optronics, Inc., from October 2009 to January 2011 and its Director from March 2008 to January 2011. Dr. Clark holds a B.A. in Physics and a B.A. in Chemistry from UC (university of california) Santa Barbara and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from UC Berkeley and carried out his postdoctoral studies as the Oppenheimer Research Fellow at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Mr. Christopher E. Brown, also known as Chris, has been the Secretary of Finisar Corp., since August 2008 and its Executive Vice President since and Chief Counsel January 2011. Mr. Brown served as General Counsel and Vice President of Business Development of Optium Corporation since August 2006 to January 2011. He served as Secretary of Optium Corporation. He joined Optium in 2006. He served as a Partner at Goodwin Procter LLP from January 2005 to August 2006 and specialized in the areas of private equity and emerging companies. He served as a Partner of McDermott Will & Emery in the Corporate Department from January 2003 to January 2005 and its Associate from March 2000 to January 2003. Mr. Brown represents private equity firms and venture capital funds in early and later stage investments, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and venture capital fund formation and capital raising. He is a Member of the American and Boston Bar Associations. Mr. Brown is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1990 and J.D. Degree from Boston College Law School in 1996.

Mr. Mark S. Colyar has been Senior Vice President of Operations & Engineering and General Manager at Finisar Corp since August 2008. Mr. Colyar served as the Senior Vice President of Operations & Engineering at Finisar Corp. since August 2008. Mr. Colyar joined Finisar in August 2008. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Optium Corporation since April 2001 and its General Manager of U S Operations since February 2004. He served in various positions at JDSU's former TSD division from November 1995 to April 2001, where he had a variety of leadership roles including CATV Product Line Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of Operations. Mr. Colyar has fifteen years experience in design and project engineering with an emphasis on IR detection systems and broadband fiber-optic systems, initially with Systems Engineering Technology International and then as a Section Head for AEL's Fiber Optic Transmitter group. Mr. Colyar holds a B.S.E.E. from Drexel University.
