Terrible, low moral, employees do just enough to not get fired. Nobody speaks up to management when they feel management is making bad decisions. Management routinely worries about today and not tomorrow. Orders are pulled into the current quarter to meet numbers at the expense of quality and procurement costs. This results in increased costs, lower quality, and sometimes such a reduction in backlog that entire teams end up with zero work the following quarter and lay-offs ensue. This is especially disheartening for some knowing that they personally worked so hard the previous quarter to meet managements expectations, only to be dismissed the next. There is no focus on building competent teams. Divisions are poorly integrated making it hard to share resources but management fails to recognize that and believes they can simply divert work here and there as needed. Simple tasks end up taking five times longer due to this. It would be cheaper to higher and retain a competent team
