Mr. Richard E. Herrington has been the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Franklin Financial Network, Inc. since July 2014 and its Director since May 2007. Mr. Herrington serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Franklin Synergy Bank. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Civitas Bankgroup Inc. since December 2002. He co-founded Franklin Financial Corporation and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from December 1988 to December 2002 and Franklin National Bank from May 1989 to July 1992. From 1985 to 1988, Mr. Herrington served as President of Security Information Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Security Federal Savings and Loan, Nashville, Tennessee. He served as a Director of Insbank. He served as a Director of Civitas Bankgroup Inc. (Formerly Cumberland Bancorp Inc.) since December 2002. He also served as Director of Cumberland Bank (Franklin, TN). Mr. Herrington holds a BA from Newberry College (South Carolina) and holds master degrees from Florida State University and Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Ms. Sarah L. Meyerrose has been Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Franklin Financial Network, Inc. since June 21, 2016. Ms. Meyerrose served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Civic Bank & Trust since joining in October 1, 2014. Ms. Meyerrose served as an Executive Vice President, Corporate Services of First Horizon National Corp. and its subsidiary, First Tennessee Bank National Association (the Bank) from August 2002 to October 2005. Since 2009 until joining Civic, she was President of Sarah Meyerrose Strategic Solutions LLC. First Horizon were five years as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for the Retail and Commercial Bank, five years as President of the Northeast Tennessee regional bank; and eight years as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating and Administrative Officer. Ms. Meyerrose served as an Executive Vice President, Employee Services of First Horizon National Corp. and First Tennessee Bank National Association (the Bank) from 1998 to October 2005. She served as Executive Vice President of Operations & Technology at First Horizon National Corp. and First Tennessee Bank National Association (the Bank) from November 15, 2005 to July 2006. She served as the President of Emerging National Business of bank of First Horizon National Corp. and First Tennessee Bank National Association (the Bank) from August 2006 to July 31, 2008. She was with First Horizon National Corporation, the parent of First Tennessee Bank, which she joined in 1982. Ms. Meyerrose was responsible for all business line support functions including technology, operations and servicing, corporate real estate and procurement, call centers and employee services at First Horizon. In addition, she led a corporate-wide efficiency and effectiveness initiative. Ms. Meyerrose received her BA, magna cum laude in Finance and Economics from Vanderbilt University and an Executive MBA from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management.

Mr. David J. McDaniel has been an Executive Vice President of Franklin Synergy Bank since 2013. Mr. McDaniel serves as the Chief Lending Officer and Williamson County Community President of Franklin Synergy Bank, a subsidiary of Franklin Financial Network, Inc. Mr. McDaniel served as Chief Retail Officer at Franklin Synergy Bank from 2013 to 2015 and served as its Senior Vice President of Investment Management from 2011 to 2013. He served as Regional President at Community First Bank & Trust in Cool Springs prior to joining the Bank. In a banking career that spans more than 24 years, he has held roles at AmSouth Bank, First American Bank, Equitable Securities and Merrill Lynch. Mr. McDaniel holds a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Brentwood Academy in Brentwood. He is a graduate of Leadership Franklin and a Member of the Williamson County/Franklin Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of the ABA Private Client Wealth Management School at Emory University.

Dr. David H. Kemp, Ph.D., serves as Secretary at Franklin Financial Network, Inc. Dr. Kemp has more than 24 years of healthcare experience in Franklin, Tennessee. He opened Kemp Orthodontics in Franklin and Brentwood in 1986 and owned and operated the business since that time. Dr. Kemp serves as a Director of Franklin Synergy Bank. He serves on the Advisory Council of 3M Unitek in Monrovia, California, where he advises on new products and improvements to existing orthodontic products. Dr. Kemp served as an Advisory Board Member to First Tennessee Bank in Franklin, where he supported Regional President in the accomplishment of their responsibilities by assisting in contacts with community leaders. He served as a Director of Franklin Financial Network, Inc. since May 2007 until May 25, 2017. Dr. Kemp holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee, Martin, Tennessee. Dr. Kemp is also a graduate of The University of Tennessee, Center for the Health Sciences, Memphis, Tennessee and holds both a Doctor of Dental Science and a Postdoctoral Master of Science in Orthodontics.

Ms. Sally E. Bowers serves as an Executive Vice President and Chief Mortgage Officer at Franklin Synergy Bank. Ms. Bowers has over 30 years of banking experience in Middle Tennessee, primarily in the mortgage banking area. Ms. Bowers began her banking career in 1975 in retail banking at Fidelity Federal Savings Bank which later merged with Union Planters National Bank. During her 20 years at Fidelity Federal/Union Planters, she rose to Vice President and was responsible for mortgage, commercial and consumer loan production. She spent a short stint in 1996 as Vice President/Mortgage Production Officer at First American National Bank. In 1996, Ms. Bowers joined Franklin National Bank as Vice President/Mortgage Lending Manager and later rose to Senior Vice President with full responsibility for production, secondary market, servicing and operation of the bank's mortgage subsidiary, Franklin Financial Mortgage. After the sale of Franklin National Bank, she joined Cumberland Bank as Executive Vice President and Mortgage Division Manager in 2004 with management responsibilities of the mortgage division. Ms. Bowers has thorough knowledge of all facets of mortgage banking. Ms. Bowers is a graduate of Memphis State University and the BAI Graduate School of Retail Banking at Vanderbilt University's Owen School of Management.
